Why do people think PC is just for gaming? I work on PC majority of the time and and also game on it. I only play MMO, FPS, MOBAs, and RTS so the idea of a console doesn't appeal to me. I bought a PS3 back then for MGS4 and FF. Now it's a netflix machine. Name a console that does photoshop, CAD, and Maya and can also play games. I don't brag about PC is the master race. I brag about a machine that is a tool for my steady income while providing entertainment.

Why thank you. My work/game machine is made to handle CAD and Maya while play games at 2560x1440 @120hz. 240fps is amazing but there are no panel that can do 240hz without interpolation. I don't need bloodborne on the PC nor do I feel jealous because I can just run that on the PS4. Good try though.

It would be uncap just like star citizen and divinity.

@guyman
"Yet the order 1886 looks far better than anything available on PC"

That's a matter of opinion. People have different taste on fidelity.

"The choice for locking 30 fps instead of 60 fps is mainly for the effect of creating a filmic atmosphere (a certain effect). They could have unlocked it between 30 and 60. RAD have explained this many times and i don't need to go into much detail there nor defend them because they k...

@gillri

We don't know what the Naughty Dog engine would look like on PC that have been optimized. If Uncharted 2 matched everything on your PC, then it's time for an upgrade lad. No doubt the next uncharted will look great on PS4 but what's the setting? 1080p @ 30fps? If so it's a cake walk making a game look great at that res. Zoom the camera in, lower draw distance, 4x-8x AF, maybe 2x AA or no AA at all and the list goes on to make a game look great with a f...

lol no. Titanfall is using the heavily modified Source engine that is not pushing any boundaries.

Not a big deal really. Just update PB and be on your way.

It would be more interesting if it were custom PCB and not just EK block. Maybe some HK or XSPC?

How hard it is to swap out components? It's a walk in the park tbh and how often do people upgrade their cpu/gpu? People still rocking the old bloomfield or sandy and are doing just fine. The whole modular pc is idiotic since power users like to change case and how it looks.

Terrible article really. We got Display Port and why the hell do we want to wait for HDMI? You can do 4k @ 60hz via MST. It's a good thing that cheaper TN 4k panels are coming out because it drives the market. I'm sure the PS4 and XB1 can do 4k but only for movies/tv show. No way they can handle 4k. You can get multiple monitors, debezzel them and put them in eyefinity/surround setup. There you go, you get the "4k" or greater @60hz or 120hz if you're crazy.

While the PS4 have potentials but you guys forget that the console is not even out yet. Be patient and wait for the real comparison. While the PC is vastly superior because of the productivity and a console is only for gaming(and watching video too but I can do that I phone). The real question here is can the PS4 run a game with the same setting as a mid/high range pc at a playable frame rate?

Bought 60gb fat model for $400 back in 2008 and I'm not even mad.

For the price point of the game. I'd say no because of the poor optimization. I enjoy the game on my PS3 and looking forward toward a PC port, but I got a bit too excited and started to think eyefinity with Dark Souls would be awesome. I guess it's not the case now. I'll buy it when it's on sale or add more features.

It certainty sold me. I only play on PC and seeing the PC version of D2 looks this good is a big thumb up in my book. Not to mention support for eyefinity. Maybe.

No. Just no. You can't really build a "epic" gaming pc for $400 USD. I spend over $1200 for my work/gaming pc. I also use my PS3 for exclusives and that's about it. I game with two 6970s @ 5760x1080 plus one display extended for my ps3 and extra screen if I need one. I can see that a person on a budget can utilize this build very efficiently. As far as a high end user, no, you have to spend more for you needs with the exception that you got the money to back it up. My philos...

I never said anything about development. I was talking about the announcement. If a game devs announced something, then they must had some kind of work on it. It could be concept arts or character models. Full development is a different thing from pulling your team and have them work on another project. At least, SE could come out and tell us what's going on with the project instead of telling us to be patient.

Seeing this makes me sad and pissed. This is not a Duke Nukem or a Blizzard's game. It's a FF. I played XIII, XIII-2, and XIV. To honest, they were lacking and I'm sitting here telling myself that Versus would be better, I just know it since they're taking their time working on it. Going from 2006 to 2012 is a long time. At this point I don't care anymore. Thanks SE for making for toying with your fans.

The problem is money and time that goes into developing a game for window and mac in mind. Look at the witcher 2, the game came out on pc first, and then came out on 360 a year later and not not on ps3. Why?, the because the team is small, therefore they lack money that could make the team bigger to develop for other consoles. Besides, many mac owners don't have the hardware to keep up with current gaming pc. Sure, you can build a imac or mac pro to game but seriously? Why do you want to...

because you don't build a pc to play game ONLY. You can actually do work on it. My 60gb bc ps3 is sitting out in my living room collecting dusts because I invest in a decent pc that can play blu ray, play games on high setting, and allow me to do works. No pc that build this year will be obsolete the next year. Sure new parts come out but you DON'T have to upgrade. Trust me, if PS3 were upgrade able, you and me would spend money upgrading it just like a pc.
