The core of the game is multiplayer but giving owner option to play with bots offline when servers are down is a good option.
I can see this as a piracy mitigation tactic but it is just harmful in the long run. If EA servers or service goes down after an amount of time. The game is rendered useless. Such as the life of GaaS.
Play events in Heroes of Reach. That's all there is to it.
Look at BF5 "campaign". It mediocre at best with "untold stories" of WW2. BF players would prefer to have more multiplayer contents at launch instead of a campaign that would just be played once.
EA is banking on players retention through multiplayers not campaign. If you don't like it, there will be many more games that worth your money. Vote with your wallet.
"next patch – not a big one"
Alright. I won't redownload then.
Good! I love to finally talk to my PS5 games without using the PS app while crossplaying.
BF1 had talents working on it. The direction of the game was clear. BF5 was divided and fresh unexperienced talents wasn't enough to save it.
From Patrick Söderlund calling your fanbase/customer ‘uneducated‘ to ‘Accept it or don’t buy the game’. BF5 "untold WW2" concept backfired. The game was barebone with launch content. Firestorm was a failure. The Pacific brought some life back but it was too late. The game was dying and CoD MW/WZ killed it in 2019.
DICE Stockholm failed to deliver a good BF product. Let this be a lesson and don't try to pull this crap again with the next BF.
Consoles users rejoice when PC tech comes to their platform but the moment a console exclusive make its way to PC. They throw a giant fit. Relax people, Sony and AMD aint your friend and they don't care about you being a fanboy. They just want your money.
Cost is the biggest limiting factor. Consoles need DLSS to get consistent 60fps @ 2160p for more demanding games.
Why don't you want the games that you like accessible to other players? They're just games and Sony just want our money as a business.
If they come to pc, then I'll buy. If not, I'll buy something else that multiplatform. If Sony want my money, then make it accessible.
Because as an adult. I don't have time to grind for 50+hrs like when I was a teenager. A speed up option in a turn base jrpg will make the grind a lot more tolerable with my limited time.
Simple drag and drop my friend.

If Switch Pro can do 1080p 60fps in portable and 1440p 30 or 60fps docked then it'll be a good upgrade. Don't compare the spec this to graphic powerhouse such as XBSX or PS5. Compare the software instead.
Norse inspired Black Dessert Online. Looks good but it'll be a grind fest.

50 GB for Xbox One
Not bad. At least we got some game line up for Q2
ah good old console vs pc article. Get what you want. Sony, Microsoft, Intel, AMD, Nvidia ain't your friend. They make a product and you, as a consumer, decide if that's worth your money. How you get your enjoyment is up to you.
Consoles are made for just gaming and entertainment that you can just pickup and play.
PCs are made for work, gaming, and entertainment but you'll have to work on it.
Get what you want. It's all the sam...
Not everyone have space for TV. Some just have enough for a 27" panel. 1440p is the sweet spot on pc especially with high refresh. Even professional development workflow can be benefited from high resolution.
Having a console with option for many resolutions is beneficial for everybody even if you don't use them.
Good for Sony. Its all business. Having a wide range of audience would boost their sales.
They aint your friend and it's not your business to dictate what Sony wants to do.
