I don't need to go on. WD was broken at launch and ppl had to make config file to bring out graphic that WAS turned OFF by the dev. It might seem fine now but back then it was unacceptable for a game to have visual downgrade AT launch. Not to mention SLI/CF was broken too. Never again Ubi. For more look at ACU
I work in retail and I don't even buy my pc games from there even with discount. I can get pc games much cheaper digital.
funny i never have problem with steam even with day1 with skyrim or any retail game. now origin or uplay on the other hand.....

Like it's hard to do 30fps @ 1080p on pc. Show me 1440p or @60 or 120hz.
I only pre-order when I want a certain jrpg or collectors edition. The deal with those games is there is so little copies going around and if you're not fast enough to get one fast. It will be sold out and you'd have to pay more to get it.
I'm not sure if it's first since Valkyria Chronicle on PC came out the same day and has PS control promp. I used a DS3 controller and didn't even have to config it. Just plug and play.

I've been burned too many time by Ubisoft despite FC3 was good but lack SLI/CFX support for the longest time. I'm more cautious when it comes to Ubi nowaday and I don't see it being optimized for people with multiple gpus or multi monitors setup.

I can confirm this. I was getting about 25fps with two 290x but with one 290x I got about 55fps on the prologue. Also the game doesn't support 21:9 aspect ratio so it would render in 16:9 and stretch out the image. That would not be a day 1 fix for that since devs are clueless about aspect ratio and how many PC users have different setting. So I guess we got to wait for Flawless Widescreen to do a fix for eyefinity/surround user.

Would play it on the console if it weren't for the controller and 30fps. I personally can't use a controller for fps since growing up mostly playing on pc. After years of CS on crt and now 144hz. It's really hard to go to 30fps.
