Doesn't necessarily *need* it, but it does have applications in which it can feel natural.

While true, Jacob is a small blemish an overall excellent cast. Sure, Jacob's character was poor, but his voice fit his character and the role of "Mr. Cerberus Boyscout."
It's the same with Vanille's voice. It fit her character, personality and all that. While grating, sure, it fit well.
We were actually very fond of Amnesia this year, giving it a bunch of awards.
