It was the game that got me to buy an Xbox (Original). Didn't finish 3 though.
I may even say I was enjoying it, but the inability to interact with more than one person at a time detracted from things for me, (imo that could have been an upgrade option on the road to rule, e.g. hold the emote button and it would perform on any people in the "AOE"). Not to mention you couldn't outright select what emotes to use on people anymore.

I dunno... i may have thought the same when it came to TV/Film media. I remember thinking to myself i'll stick with Blu-Ray "because i want a physical collection".
In the end, you go along with it and adopt the Netflix steaming zeitgeist for what it is. And...it was cool. Everything there, nice and easy. I preferred the platform with it's built in review features so you could see what was good and what was shit. Found some gems i'd never have seen than...
Sad isn't it that the game had it's soundtrack stripped due to licencing. May have been a year or two ago? (along with San Andreas & GTA4)
Of course if you're playing an original PS2 / XBOX copy you're good.

The Artwork (Scythe or Iron Harvest) is well-cool.
That's exactly why you don't buy it up front. This company can't be trusted anymore.
Hang back and see what the reviews say, filter the shilled / bandwagon hype ones from the real, give it a few months if you can, and let the reality come to bear.
And "then" make your decision. A little self-control goes a long way.
