Out of Stock...figures
If the cost of development is going up perhaps they should spend more time looking at cost savings. Perhaps their processes are just bad and costing excess money. I know EA is saving some by taking manuals out of the boxes. Who uses them anyway. I'd rather go to an in game controls page or online manual. They could also use smaller, cheaper, but still protective packaging. There are tons of areas to save production costs instead of abusing certain series for profit like Activision. ...
While I love this idea because I have lots of games I could rent out and make tons of points, the problem could easily be the way they do the licenses for the downloaded games. They would have to change that whole system to not link to the console. I always thought that was a terrible way to license and not to link it to the user's account. Plus I think the average rental would have to be 3 days and not 1.
If they developed the game how do they not have the music track files laying around on the servers? That would be far better quality than any MP3 file they downloaded. Just goes to show that poor organization leads to piracy...or maybe everything is just easier when its pirated.
I have both maps packs, and all the DLC from the legendary edition and I am not experiencing any problems. The Load Failure has been a problem since the last map pack and is not specific to this DLC. The cause may be storing the maps on removable storage but we shall wait and see. Personally I don't see why everyone just doesn't spend the $60 and get a 250GB HDD. I would like to see the next Xbox have at least a 1TB and a built in TV Tuner with DVR features. Only seems logical si...
You'd have to be an idiot to think this is a good deal. Those game would sell on Amazon for about $40 a piece in good condition. Why get $50 you would have to spend at an overpriced Best Buy when you could get $80 and spend it how you wanted anywhere. People are dumb.
They should add more service record stats to the Halo Reach in game stats. The online stats track so much more but lack good friend comparisons or overall leaderboards.
Personally I'd rather see more add-ons to the current one and maybe a code update or two to increase the accuracy when the next Kinect firmware comes out. The games on the first one are fun but could use a little detection help. As long it doesn't turn out like the Wii where there were a million sports games all with the same mini games but just rehashed.
I have no trouble with my Xbox 360 now that warrent a new console purchase. The only items missing that I would like to see include bluetooth support, USB3, and larger external hard drive support. The hard drive support can be done via software so no biggy. They do need to redesign the dashboard and interface to make it more user friendly and customizable. The more they add the more clustered it gets. I would love to see them go back and revisit the media features such as the ability to ...
Pachter should just stop opening his mouth because everything he says just makes him look like an idiot.
5 recent games would probably resell for about $45-$50 a piece in like new condition which would net nearly $250. You can get a touch for less than that.
So after many, many comments from Activision CEO that they were not going to charge for COD he finally changes his mind. Pachter is such a tool and should not be given credit for anything.
My guess is that it is for XBLA because that doesn't look entertaining enough for a full blown $60 game.
Why would any game be an exclusive? Developer's are always complaining about game costs but then they try to cut sales by releasing on limited platforms. Unless they fix the ridiculous control scheme I definately won't be interested.
I see the bad business practices but I have not experienced the repetative content from Rock Band. Yes, Guitar Hero is as cookie-cutter as they come but Rock Band is not on the same crazy release schedule. Rock Band still needs work on how to build a last game but now that they own the genre it should be up them to self-destruct or thrive. I am not sure how it cost so much to produce the music. It's raw music tracks, click some notes when they match the music for different instruments...
20th Anniversary and no new big releases or discounts to celebrate...shame on iD. I would have loved a discount on Quake 3 Arena or see the release of Final Doom to complete the Doom series.
what they said is true but is not really backed up by any numbers to show the sales decline? Personally, I think if Guitar Hero should give up. Mad Catz should make cheaper instruments that are always compatible for the future or allow upgrading old instruments for a huge discount. Finally the game would be better if there was daily and weekly challenge like Halo. This keeps the game new and exciting. They also need to lower the cost of music if they want to sell more. The extra charge ...
Wish Manson had released these tracks for Rock Band. Oh well, their loss for siding with one game and not producing for both.
Yeah first problem is the autistic boy play M rated games. While we know most people let their kids do it, your on live news. Second thing is MS and their "systems". Ever since the dawn of the first Xbox and banhammer, as Bungie calls it, Microsoft has never had to explain themselves. When an account gets suspended, gamertag banned from XBL, or in this case labeled a cheater Ms just has the same blanketed response...our tools said you were bad. This is a repeat of the case wher...
Is this stat referring to XBL Games on Demand or indcluding Indie and Arcade games? If it includes then I have contribute to the 55%. If it is just for Games on Demand then nothing from me. I find the releases to be to far from the store versions and the prices overpriced compared to the disc. I understand why they do that but from a comsumer it just doesn't make sense for me.
