Not the first time this has happened. Last time the points were all 9s though so I guess this is cheap for a pre-release!

Fox News is such a joke. Why would you even repost this article except for the comedy.

Online Pass is only applicable to a few games from EA right now. The majority of multiplayer games are still free.

$2 a night is still a bit much. Gamefly allows unlimited rental time at $16 a month which is roughly 50 cents per night. Not to mention the selection is 7000+ and rarely will it not be available. I think RedBox should consider doing a weekly charge for a game rental similar to what game stores used to do. The $5 for a week is a good price. I have XBL so if I want to try a game I get the demo. If it doesn't have a demo I sure won't spend $60 on it. Wait 2-4 weeks after a release...

Why are people convinced they abandoning core gamers after one press conference? Is it the lack of exclusive? The lack of air time for the FPS during the show? Either way you stack it the facts stay the same. Exclusives are dying between all consoles because developers are branching out with new sandbox to tools which enable easier cross platform development. They also want more money. Just because there is less exclusives doesn't diminish the amount of game coming in the next year. ...

Don't care to much about the genre. More concerned about first-person vs third person and if we plan to see it on console. After those, let's hearing pricing. If a company plans to get me to play an MMO I am not paying anything on top of my gold subscription. I understand charging silver since they don't pay now but as a Gold member I shouldn't have to pay.

That is not a bad offer for a game store trade-in. It is pretty standard actually compared to all the previous trade-ins on new consoles. Trade-in values are usually determined by the game store so I am not sure how this has to do with Microsoft at all. Most people don't know how to sell things online and find this to be the simple solution. If they knew better they could get double their money. People's lack of knowledge is the game store's gain and that's the way of the...

There will never be a Gears of War on PS3. Epic developed the game in conjunction with Microsoft Studios. That would be like Zelda appearing on Xbox or PS. Wish, but it will never happen.

I agree with the whinners but that is why I don't pre-order this early anyway. It could end up like MK where they make the DLC available later for others.

Sorry, but $40 is a bit much for a remake of the first campaign and a map pack for Reach. If I am only going to import 7 maps which would normal cost $20 for two map packs that makes the campaign $20. I still own the original disc and you can probably get it for roughly $10. To me that means a $30 price tag is a better choice. I will wait to see the pre-order deals. I think it's funny that it launch the same time as COD.

This article is misleading. Makes it sound like they were going to do a Nintendo release only. It should be titled "Colonial Marines being considered for WiiU and not the Wii"

So its a cross between Age of Empires upgrading meets COD Zombies weapons upgrading...sounds good to me!

This is a terrible comparison. If your going to actually "compare" you need to match statistics. Saying one has USB ports and the other has 3 doesn't compare. To do a proper comparison you need a 3 column chart with shared rows that can be filled in for each. Use the same measurements. I'm not great a conversion between mm and inches. In the end, it looks like the WiiU will have a newer multi-core processor and the wireless video transitter. Thats about all that is ne...

I think I would call it a draw between Nintendo and Microsoft. Playstation just gave us nothing innovative. This article failed to mention half of the Microsoft stuff such as cloud profiles, increase Kinect sensor detail, uDraw tablet, and Kinect Fun Labs ability to scan in object and have them digitized instantly. Microsoft is taking the family approach with Kinect knowing it has spent years on aquiring a hardcore gamer base. It is still releasing big blockbusters this year with the new ...

MS has not ditched their hardcore gaming fans but has simply shifted their marketing towards a new demographic in order to bring in more users. The hardcore gamers still get their new games like COD, Halo 4, GoW3, Forza, etc. They focus on hitting families by showing the TV features, music, Disney Adventures, and other kids related Kinect features. There were a couple features mentioned outside the conference such as cloud profiles and a new notification system which could also be consider...

There is nothing wrong with the same enemies. There is 4 different enemies throughout the series machines, brutes, covenant, and flood. As games grow in animation and AI the enemies will get harder and present a more involved gaming experience. I think they should focus the majority of the time on the user experience. I would love to see a class approach like COD, a gun smith like approach to weapon customization like GR: Future Solider, and an expansion on the current armory customizatio...

I'm glad to hear that Disney is finally focusing their games on something more feasible. Making a movie based game about every movie was getting old and the quality of almost all of them were poor, except the LEGO series. With the Disney Universe they are set up for an ever expanding DLC. They almost could focus on an MMO based on the same idea. The biggest downfalls I could see to this game is ease of play, lack of online co-op, and only a single campaign. While they promise DLC hav...
