I don't own any more EA games. Their online model is just aweful and the games have not gotten any better. Sound to me like the studio is hurting and will need to change it's act or be sold.
Kinect has tons of uses but won't be realized as long as the UI is not designed properly to utilize the features. The user needs to be able to use two hands, faster clicks, and be presented with a more open desktop approach rather then menus then need to be slid. If they are bringing more statistics it would be nice if they could actually launch a window from Halo Reach to load the waypoint without having to exit the game. The statistics in Reach just are not enough compared to online. It would be nice to replace the in-game stuff with WayPoint if that is their "single source" for Halo Universe.
Too bad they can't softmod it like the Wii so I can play games off my network drive as well as emulators. That might be something!

30x is not nearly enough to warrent me playing. I was at 65 last time I played and it was stil 5-10 games before I was able to level at that rate. I could only imagine what it would be at a higher level. They should make 30x the standard and then do 30x that. Or do what Reach does and give more points to those at higher levels because they need more.
I don't see how the launch of a new device (best selling in history by the way) says they don't care about their fanbase? It means they are reaching out to more fans than just the casual and hardcore gamers. They now are bringing family entertainment and the ability to be used in schools for educational purposes. Overcharged? For what? The game still cost $60 at release and has now fallen to about nothing just like the rest of EA sports games. The only overcharging that happened was if you actually bought the game when it was released. That is more stupidity then anything. These sports games are not worth $60 and should start around $40.
Some women like looking at them just as much as us men do. I see how some gamers might be offended by sexism but all the women gamers I know don't play the top games because they find them difficult to grasp the hand eye coordination needed to play FPS. The problem is that this is still a game studio solution and does not help Indie gamers who use XNA and are required to signup for the creator's club license even to test their games. If they would develop an emulator that could run development games then this would serious increase custom development.

Yes, because the online pass did so well the first time around that they should try it on a game that is necessary to revive a franchise. Sounds like instant failure to me.
90% of Indie games I tried were trash that people threw together to make money. I think I have actually bought 3 games because they were $1 and semi entertaining. I thought they said there was 30+ characters? If that is true than this is a fake since there is only 28 showing. I'll wait till the full roster is officially announced before believing. These are not sales. These are still over a sale price. Reach and BlackOps have been as low as $30. Stupid Best Buy, still trying mark things up. They should just turn the store into a window shop then if you want something it is order to the store for pickup. Only things that people might need on the spot should be available like cables, connectors, remotes, and other little things.
There is no way they will be announcing a new console until at least next year or most likely 2 years from now. They need to decide on the next form of media (DVD, Blu-ray, Cloud, or other), the hardware specs for a new graphics processor, and design for the casing. I would also like to see USB3, gigabit networking, larger external HDD support or even network drive support for storage, and a built-in TV tuner for DVR style recording. I just hope they go back to the more classic control style similar to ALL current FPS games. The whole hold the trigger and press a button to use a weapon is just stupid. The control has lots of buttons. One for knife attack, one for taking out or holstering the equipped weapon, and another for firing. The original deal was that you just need to spend $120 and get the $50 card so it did not have to be Portal 2 as your second game. They also said there was 1200 MSP cards half off which counted towards the $120. Personally, I just want MK but we'll have to see what other retailers do before Monday to make me go somewhere else.
