To have successes you must understand the fact that there will be as many, if not more, failures. If the successes outweigh the failures, the company profits. If the company fails to make risks and stays in its comfort zone it never grows.
Microsoft posted a smaller PROFIT, not even a loss, and somehow it's dying? So what, it's having a bit of a dry streak in a global recession, plenty of companies are having trouble. Get over it.
