It is in Canada...
By the time you factor in shipping the deal isn't as good as it appears.
That means they both love us! :D
Except for Nintendo... but they gave us Wii Fit!
Happiness all around!

Don't all 360s come with a month of gold membership free? I might be wrong, but that is probably what that means.
Wow, can Microsoft sell ANYTHING without bundling it? *sigh*

Over 9000?!?
You can only kill a person, not a piece of hardware..
Neither Sony nor Microsoft is going anywhere anytime soon.
EDIT: Eh, next time I should post AFTER I read the article, took it the wrong way.
The thing is, home is free. I don't want to pay to play a game just to get insulted racially throughout its entirety by some idiot that can't string three words in a sentence together properly. Even if the games are fun, the atmosphere can sometimes take lots of fun away from it.
How was the ps3 going slim a surprise and/or a sign of a bad design? Sony has been known to make their systems thinner, albeit slightly later than 3 years into the game.
The slim ps3 doesn't have a power brick..
Unless you are saying there should be one, which I disagree with. I hate those things.
They said BY September 1st, obviously they would try to get it to one of their biggest markets as soon as possible..
I don't see how any of those things would change my experience in the slightest..
And the power consumption has dropped from 110w to 73w, that's fairly significant to me.
Competition is finally starting to heat up :)
Too bad they took out the HDMI and other cords.. Eh, at least consumers get a bigger harddrive. (If there wasn't a cut it would be a 60 gig 360 vs a 120 gig ps3, consumers always go for the biggest number for the smallest amount of money)
No ps3 to buy, people settle with the 360.
Same with how the Wii shortages both helped the Wii with publicity, but also lead to more sales for the other consoles due to people wanting to game, but not patient enough to wait for the Wii.
The PS2 got smaller twice.
What's amazing is that the power consumption is nearly a third of what the launch consoles consume (180W vs 73W).
.. Maybe they're making the processors faster, but specifically underclocking to get better power consumption?
It looks like it runs at 73 watts instead of 110 watts, that should make a big difference.
If it was up to Activision it would be much higher.
Sorry, but that's what she said.
On Topic: Sorta funny they compared it to handhelds, didn't think they were comparable :P
Hopefully they are waiting for optical/quantum computing. That would be awesome and truly "next-gen".
