A game at $10 that was marked down from $60 outsells the PS3 that sells at $300... amazing. Plus it was only a 1 day deal thing so it's not like it was a deal that would last forever. People buy it when it's on sale or get it for regular price.
A 360 cake would cook itself.
5/0 = undefined, therefore XBL has to be infinitely better than PSN to make it worth it.
It has 2 vids going slower, 2 faster. How is that evidence that the slim is, on average, any different from the phat?
And anyways, don't both PS3s have different firmware on them? That should also affect performance.
He has 2 vids showing it slower, and then 2 vids showing it faster, yet the title clearly says that the slim is slower? I don't get it. Average it out and they are the same speed, silly.
Doubt it- it is a test device, not exactly made for profits. They are testing the markets for DD, not trying to make this an entirely viable and profitable enterprise. Sony has plenty of money to spare so they can do this just to get information, however, they won't sell these under cost if they aren't expecting to sell, say, 7 million, since it won't be as widely produced as the older psp. Therefore individual device costs will also be higher, hence the larger cut for R&D.
No Valkyria Chronicles? Those songs were awesome, especially with some of them in the context they were used in.
Yep, sounds like some people on XBL will go crazy enough to hopefully kill themselves because their beloved GTA4 has the word Gay in the title.
It recommends to replace your console once a year? WTF, this isn't pc gaming, I want a 1 time investment rather than having to get new stuff just so it doesn't break.
Surprisingly I walked by some CD-RWs in Staples yesterday. Does that mean DVDs never replaced CDs?
Looks like he needs 'em.
Wow, I don't see a single comment in here without a disagree. The disagree gremlins are hard at work I see.
I know, it seems like a no brainer now to take this over the phat. Gotta love the significantly lower temp for Blu-Ray playback, too. That's gotta mean the fan is much quieter during the movies.
It doesn't make sense to do it if they merely save cents- the cost of the R&D and the new outfitting of the factories would make the savings moot. They are either going to make it so they can drop the price or so they can make a lot more money off of it.
Obvious article is obvious.
Breaking! Microwaves also found to use electricity when used! More at 11.
Out of stock? They haven't even GOT a stock yet...
Well obviously- even if they are using the same engine it will take longer to develop for two systems..
Versus looks sick.
I'm sorry, but it will never be the latter. Journalism has realized flamebait sells better than news.
Eh, I would have chose Pacman for #1. He's a hero in my book.
FLoating Operations Per Second... per second?
