Umm... it's being outsold 5:1.
The ps3 is more popular in Japan. Period.
*sigh* People never seem to realize that the true money really is made in the last half of the console's life. The first year or two the console sells at a loss. The next few the penetration rate is still too low to make a chunk of cash. Only if they stay in the game until a few years in do they make back their investment, with a hefty interest, too.
Sony's 10 year support for the PS2 has racked them in oodles of cash. They are a company in it for the money.
How can he? Bethesda took it off XBL.
Why not?
I heard rumors it wouldn't leave a scratch... and it didn't.
Microsoft is dead.
^See what I did there?
You can use steel wool on a Blu-Ray and not scratch it.
Trust me, I have tried :)
Reminds me of this girl I knew.
She thought people should get the death penalty for killing a dolphin.
Numbers are obviously a matter of opinion.
/sarc
I'm pretty sure the weight of an additional electron or two is negligable... so pound for pound they are both just a tiny bit above 0.
Yea, even newegg only sells the 80gb ps3 for $389.99

Is it recyclable too?
I hope somebody remembers this when FFXIII actually comes out.
MS seems to say stuff and if it is true a couple years later they won't stop saying how they were right, and if it isn't how it happens they "never said it".
I have a feeling it will do better in Japan where it will be on the PS3 for an ENTIRE YEAR while not being on the 360.
He must be new there.
Hehehe... he said prophet instead of profit...
2 Christmas ago long time...
Me no remember. *grunt*
Methinks people don't care what other people think about things they think are awesome.
Try to wrap your mind around that.
I got mine for $280 (250 + 30 shipping).
Too bad the deal is over...
Does everybody buy the $399 ps3?
The majority of 360 sales are the arcade and the majority of ps3 sales are the $399 one, he's just going for simplicity's sake.
xbox.co? *shrugs*
Some people can be really stupid.
The Wii may be lame this generation, but it has also opened the gaming world up for a great many people that would not have even thought twice about buying a gaming system.
The next generation's audience will be huge.
