So what exactly does this do?
EDIT: Heh, it's surprising what a 2 second google can tell you. Me understand now :)
It will be a million buck an hour + forced in game ads every 5 minutes. Even if you are in an epic boss fight, your game will not be paused and you will be forced to watch a 30 second vid of someone drinking a coke.
I feel sad for anyone who has not experienced Valkyria Chronicles.
It was worth every penny, even at $60.
Personally, I did not like the demo, but I got the game anyways.
BEST GAME EVER. The demo does not do it justice. Take the demo and multiply it by 100 and you get the game. Yea, it's that good. My favorite game in a long, long time.
I was hoping someone would bring up this point.
Used BluRay = same as new.
It's only rape if you don't say surprise.
Why did I get disagrees for that? =/
I still think it will last longer than 10 years. Maybe not in North America and Europe, but in India and China for sure. They are definitely trying to take the emerging markets with this. Plus I heard they lowered any costs related to game design/release. AKA cheaper system + cheaper games = epic for 2nd world countries.
You cannot divide by 0.
Yea, yet Sony, once again, did not promise anything. The media did.
EPIC SOURCE! Go to the bottom of the article and click the source, I dare 'ya.
The real announcement was the PSP2 price cut.
Sony turns it off when they feel it shouldn't be shared, EX: Warhawk and GT:P
All games on default can be shared though.
It's no different than if a friend lent you a game... come to think of it, I still have MGS4 on lend from a friend (heh, I really should get to beating it, haven't even gotten through act 2) except they get to limit the amount of times it gets shared, though to be honest, I don't think one disc would spread farther than 5 people so they are being quite lenient.
It's Wii + x360 + ps3 = 100mil, not Wii= 100mil...
With this price drop SONY seems to have 2 aims:
1) Take some casual market share, but not much
2) Take a massive leap into the emerging markets (India and China esp.)
See: Tech.
This is in the tech section, so it doesn't exactly have to fit in, but it has to be something interesting :)
Almost as bad as Duke Nukem Forever...
I hope so, Ratchet and Clank is awesome.
Yep, I bet they got something like 101% and then realized they should dial it down so it should make sense, while not doubting the numbers they actually got.
I bet they classify netbooks as cheap notebooks that run on windows.
