7 disagrees? It was a comparison of two arguments, saying that neither can be put into numbers and using either as an argument isn't viable with variables on both sides.
Plus, if you're saying sales are low, of course you're comparing it to SOMETHING, it's not like a certain amount of sales makes it a high selling game unless there is some sort of comparison...
Uhhhh... I can't see this catching on with similarly sized Blu-Ray discs coming out at the same time (20 layer experimental discs have been out for over a year now, plus with firmware it should be backwards compatible, at least with the PS3). With another disc player to buy, I just can't see it in the future.
*facepalm* I wouldn't say 60%. Not even close. Probably close to the number of 360 replacements by people who didn't know about/didn't want to wait for the rrod and other warranties.
Killzone 2 broke 1 million sales and is still selling, what's more to ask for?
I guess we're stuck with all WW2 games then, right? How is that any different?
Japan is a country, sorta like the UK. Countries have people, that buy things. Nice things too, like xboxes and ps3s. Sales = sold stuff, so therefore Japan counts, especially when Japan is usually ahead of the game and is usually a good sign of the future of the rest of the markets.
Understand?
Less than that, they have KZ2 for $40, so that's $340
Awesome, but not quite as good as the deal I got :P, got it for 250, but had to pay 35 S&H, so it's nearly the same if dell doesnt charge for shipping (but... my deal expired dec 31)
Guess what... the same can be done with a Blu-Ray disc. They have prototype 1TB disc and larger if I remember right.
Yea, there are easily a couple games I would pick up really fast if I could play them on my ps3.
The same thing happened with the PS2, am I right? So instead of having the best off the bat and no improvement, we have a steady improvement and end up with a better end of generation game than comparable games on systems that were easy to optimize. Complexity isn't always a bad thing.
Personally, I like watching improvement over time, it makes me feel like I am the one they want to please by making better and better games.
Any big near-monopoly losing power is always a good thing.
Dayum, that's a massive increase for not even an entire game.
Gotta love the trailer... I do
Should I see a difference? I see none...
Sounds like the MGS series will come true any day now...
Blu-Ray has a slower max transfer speed, but a faster overall read speed... it has already been argued and measured, don't spread facts if they aren't true.
Wow, that ps2 price cut was awesome for the ps2. Over 100k sold in an already ps2 saturated market.
Well duh, you win when you die. Obviously.
I would be surprised if ANYTHING with the name Halo in it sells badly.
I'm looking forward to a quantum console, I don't really care whenever it comes out :P
Or... hoping. Mostly hoping, but they will come.
Eventually.
