pCARS still feels like absolute garbage in comparison to AC, iRacing, GSC and RF2 ... It's nice looking, has a good roster of tracks and cars but after that it's tough to find a positive.
AC with the DK2 is blowing my mind however, looking forward to iRacings update next week :)
Working fine for me :)
Lol, an iPad Air rapes a PS Vita for graphics performance, just google a benchmark.
Worse possible type of game for a small low resolution screen.
Now an ipad version could get me excited...
Totally agree, as a PC and PS4 owner I refuse to buy any games that don't run native 1080p on the Playstation, I absolutely can tell the difference.
I would rather they knocked down the graphics effects to keep native 1080p, I can live with 30fps for this kind of game.
I certainly didn't just spend a tonne of money on a brand new TV for my living room to play upscaled games on my "next-gen" console, devs need to prioritise resolution IMO.
Not really clued up on VR are you?
One of the best, and for a Ninty fan, most nostalgic experiences so far is an Ocarina of time forest demo available for the Oculus Rift. 5 minutes inside that and I think you'd be a convert :)
I don't see why Mario games wouldn't work, Oculus have already demoed a 3rd person platformer. And if Mario and Nintendo franchises aren't about escapism I don't know what is?!
And you don't think that VR will spawn a whole host of innovative gaming experiences??!!
Elite Dangerous with my DK2 is the most immersive gaming experience I've ever had, and I actually bought it for racing sims :)
Rofl! Learn to English!!
Yup, already got it on a the lowest light setting, would just like an option to turn it off!!
Definitely sitting down lol! In front of a 55" screen.
Love the speaker in the PS4 controller but the light bar is pita, can see it reflect in the glass panel of my TV with the lights off.
I'm actually enjoying this even more on my PS4 than I did on my PC, they've done a fantastic job with regards to graphics and the control system.
If you haven't played the PC version at 1080p and 60fps then perhaps you don't appreciate how much better the PS4 version is going to be than the PS3 one.
Very cool, gonna have to put a Star on my Xmas list now!
He makes some valid points about the stealth, I'd rate the Uncharted games higher than TLOU, big stupid fun :)
Lol ... All this arguing over a game that still handles like crap, has a horrible U.I. and terrible Force Feedback.
Thank you, not often I laugh that hard after reading a comment :D
To be fair it's something we should've had from release ... But still, glad themes are finally on their way.
Wow, a lot of people talking out of their arses here.
With my DK2 I'm primarily playing Elite Dangerous using a 4770k and 780ti.
If I play at 1080p on a monitor I achieve FPS between 130 and 200 on high settings but with the DK2 it is approximately half that. To remove judder in Space Stations with the Rift where my FPS is dropping below 75 I have to play on medium settings.
So yes, if crytek are showing a VR demo at 100fps the same demo...
That depends on what makes a good car. My next door neighbour swapped his GTR for an R8 after a week of ownership, said it was stupidly fast but one of the most boring cars he'd ever driven and coming from a guy who's owned Porsches and Ferrari's I value his opinion. It also had a 'tacky' interior ... If you aspire to own one good on you but there's a shed load of cars you'd be better off spending your money on and they all hail from Europe.
Looks like somebody got their hands on the XB1 version, looks good.
