Well my revised date was 9th - 19th May so I was pretty surprised to get shipping notice yesterday!!
Hopefully yours comes early too ;)
Mine was dispatched today, should be with me on Friday 😬
@PC_60, if you want one in the summer you should pre-order now! My mate preordered yesterday and his estimated delivery is July.
My estimated delivery is April... can't ****ing wait!!!
Why have you got so few bubbles?? Well said :)
I feel sorry for you :(
Ermm... sorry to disappoint you but it does not work on every existing game, in fact it won't work with any current games.
Don't expect PSVR games to look as good graphically as PS4 games, it simply doesn't have the horsepower to push that level of fidelity at the required frames per second.
I'm okay with that, I'll still pick up a PSVR.
Is that because you don't own a good enough gaming PC?
I've pre-ordered a Rift as I only want it for seated VR experiences like iRacing and ED. I'll probably pick up a PSVR too if it has some good games at launch.
There's something seriously wrong with this port.
I feel the same, despite the fact that utter chaos has broken out in NY I found the PC version achingly beautiful, never before have I stood still in a game to admire a mound of garbage bags :)
Reimagine Ecco the Dolphin for VR
Would've been better off putting the money into a single 980Ti for VR.
I don't know how you cope with that!
I have a triple Gsync setup for sim racing but I always use just the centre monitor for normal gaming. I find the warping on the monitors far too distracting and devs of those types of games don't seem keen to offer the separate rendering of each screen that sims like iRacing and AC do ... shame really.
That was my dilemma, but having downloaded the Beta on both I can't bring myself to pick the PS4 version over the PC one. I'll just have to be a lone wolf graphics whore 😂
I had the same choice to make, but as I have a CV1 on order it was an easy one to make when they announced they won't be supporting PSVR ;)
It's not a 'simulator' by any stretch of the imagination, a fun game yes, but not a sim.
If you're after a sim to really enjoy that G29 with, and race against the highest level of online sim racers then please check out iRacing :)
Depends on the genre you're into.
Right now playing a Racing Sim like iRacing or Assetto Corsa is amazing with a DK2 and will be even better with a CV1.
I know sim racing is a niche market but you wouldn't believe how many iRacers have placed an order already! We're also used to spending much larger amounts of cash on cockpits, triples, pedals and wheels so I guess the $599 price point wasn't as hard to stomach as it has been for some :)
I've got three Gsync monitors for Sim Racing, the CV1 seems like a bloody bargain to me :)
I primarily used my DK2 with iRacing, that's all I really play and it worked great and that's why I'm desperate for a CV1!
I will look at the Vive once it's out though ...
But for enthusiasts it's a must! When I look at what I've spent on sim racing hardware the Rift comes out at one of the cheapest parts ... Can't wait for April
Got my Rift last Friday, I NEED Edge of Nowhere NOW.
