I've got three Gsync monitors for Sim Racing, the CV1 seems like a bloody bargain to me :)
I primarily used my DK2 with iRacing, that's all I really play and it worked great and that's why I'm desperate for a CV1!
I will look at the Vive once it's out though ...
But for enthusiasts it's a must! When I look at what I've spent on sim racing hardware the Rift comes out at one of the cheapest parts ... Can't wait for April
Ordered, due in April and I can't f***ing wait!!
Gotta pay £530 delivered, I would pay twice that tbh.
The character looks hot but has the voice of a drag queen ... :/
C'mon we know she's really waiting to get her hands on Drake ;)
It'd better have Party Mode in it!
Still drag the PC into the living room when my mates come over for a games session just to play that on Paradise :)
Lol, I meant visit a developer making an 18 rated game, our Politicians wouldn't endorse anything like that no matter whether it created job opportunities or boosted our economy!
I don't think you'd miss a whole lot by playing them out of sync...
That's great, couldn't imagine David Cameron doing that lol
You can 'feel the wind' on the PC version? That's pretty mind blowing, did you hook up a USB fan? ... Master Race FTW :p
PC version coming out later in the year? Errr.... No! I've been playing the final build for 2 weeks now, the actual release date is the same for PC as the PS4 and XB1.
Lol, the only thing worse than the A.I. will be the kids online :D
Take a look at iRacing if the only thing important to you is online racing, doesn't get any better than that IMO.
Yup, game looks amazingly realistic ... Until the lights go green and the AI crash into each other and block the track at Turn 1. I downloaded the release candidate at the weekend after not playing it for a few months, why haven't they fixed the AI yet???
LOL!!!! Assetto Corsa, iRacing, RF2, Gamestockcar Extreme all way ahead of Forza in terms of physics and handling.
If you're a racing game fan it's time to buy a PC, a set of HE Pedals and an Accuforce :)
Lol, and an extra 4 weeks will sort that out .... yeah right.
I've been playing builds of it on my PC for over 2 years and I'm still waiting for good driving physics, not gonna happen.
Tell him he'll need a decent PC if he wants it to look like that ;)
Dark Souls 2 doesn't support 4K resolutions on PC so you'd either have to play it upscaled or buy the "4K edition" ... If they ever bother, which is unlikely ;)
You must be from America? In the rest of the world we have these things called windscreen wipers and wet weather tyres for our race cars and we race in all weather.
Depends on the genre you're into.
Right now playing a Racing Sim like iRacing or Assetto Corsa is amazing with a DK2 and will be even better with a CV1.
I know sim racing is a niche market but you wouldn't believe how many iRacers have placed an order already! We're also used to spending much larger amounts of cash on cockpits, triples, pedals and wheels so I guess the $599 price point wasn't as hard to stomach as it has been for some :)
