How Insomniac handled Sunset Overdrive, I think they're seriously the best contender for making a Spiderman game.

I am all for serious games, Zombie or not. It looks like it handles itself maturely like how Tlou was. And I read a lot about its Streakers(?), how they are alive, the huge map, the traps which is a focus and you can craft stuff, your bigger inventory will be your bike (which sounds fair), and you can have up about 800 bullets with all the crafting. (like it was the case in E3 demo)

No PC user will ever going to buy a XBox hardware. Ever.
Only console users who arr already habitual of playing XBox will continue to buy Xbox's, which are still a large number in USA.
I used to think that, but the fight for living home is pretty much lost when they're competing with 99$ AndroidTV and AppleTV and other only 99$ TV boxes.
No one OUTSIDE of gaming is going to buy 300$ Xbox just for their living room. So yeah, the fight is pretty much on Gaming terms to gamers now. That's why Sony launched that TVboxVue thing for 99$ because they know NO ONE who doesn't game isn't going to buy playstation which costs 300$. Same goes for every console.

There will always be people that will be loyal to Xbox, it's ecosystem and aren't interested in PCs.
There will be those gamers always, and as long as their market, Microsoft will keep making Xbox's.
Even when the odds are against it, Xbox One DID sold ~20M HW. No company is going to leave that money on the table.
We all love Sony now, but Microsoft leaving the console industry would be a DISASTER.
Everything needs competition. You can't trust any company when they will have a monopoly. Nintendo hasn't been a suitable contender for many years.

Preordering ANY game in itself in this day and age doesn't really mean much. You will never run out of copies.

As only the second FPSMMO, I am guessing people will play it for a long time. It won't be as crowded as Destiny though.
I can say whatever for Destiny, people will still buy the cr*p out of that game when Destiny2 drops.
