It was frustrating to see HelloGames showing something and then gamers blowing it out of proportion in hype.
Have realistic expectations, I know I won't be disappointing but I'm guessing many others still expect this to entertain them for 200hours and more...which isn't happening, and then we will be swarmed with articles with people saying how HG lied and NMS was disappointing. It will happen.

I remember many devs saying their own games development is hampered when BloodBorne was released.
Don't read too much into it. PGO is still a fun thing though (though my area has nothing in the map!)
The trailer of FarPoint felt like a true AAA shooter in VR.
Can't wait to see what devs will do with PSVR in 1-2 years.

I will give you that that MS will enjoy PC sales JUST on exclusives. Only 1% of PC users will buy, say, Deus Ex Mankind Divided from WindowsStore instead of Steam.
Yup. It's a very cool feature...but the amount of people benefiting from this feature are frankly quite low.
It's a "it's good to have it" feature, but certainly not mass appeal "I want this now!" feature.
There are pros to this program obviously,..but it isn't something earth shattering which will want you to buy an Xbox One.
It's nice for people who already own XB1 AND a PC, which is a very slim audience tbh.
Cons, is obviously no addition to that already slim XB1+PC audience as no PC users will EVER buy an XB1.

Yeah Japan is pretty much done with consoles like how they used to in PS2 era. It's all handhelds there now.
Still PS4 sold more than what PS3 sold in Japan in the same time frame so that's a good sign I guess.
