careful, saying you like ANYTHING on this site usually invites tons of people to just bash it... also, everything you said is spot on.
i really wish reviewers and "gaming journalists" could stop just relentlessly bashing every game coming down the pike... im not going to give you a click because of your awesome, against the grain, hipster opinion... its as pathetic of a tactic as all the facebook videos with titles like " THEY THOUGHT HE'D DO SOMETHING, BUT HE DIDN'T! it seems like, simply to get hits, they're just knocking down every single major title they come across anymore. haven't read an online review in months, i usually agree with the reviews in gameinformer, i think i'll just stick to that. people really NEED to quit feeding sites like this any clicks at all. that is an incredibly simple way to make this stop...
some of these aren't very good comparisons, due to different lighting (interior) or different areas completely (cobble stone street VS dirt street)... however, the close up of the girls face looks drastically different, to the point i'd believe its 2 different games... look at all the imperfections (ie details!) on the original VS the new, flawless version (much more simple). Also, there is no contest between her old and new hair.

you ARE right that CoD was where the dam broke, but Destiny isn't any kind of turning point... IMO its been pretty far gone for 3 or 4 years now... When Assassins Creed has a season pass, thats pretty bad... the bulk of that game is SP, it doesn't NEED constant content to refresh it. Whereas you COULD argue that CoD needs an influx of maps to keep the MP fresh, Assassins Creed (and other SP games with the season pass) doesn't need it at all!

haha! thats awesome! playing samurai warriors 4 right now, loving it! the story mode is really great, but the other mode (where you wander japan and make friends with the different characters) is actually full of content and pretty fun too! i usually dont like these modes, so it was a pleasent suprise! cant wait for this either, heres hoping Hyrule Warriors gets some more people converted to the warriors series!

personally i'd rather play a new game than a remaster of something that came out a decade ago... don't get me wrong, MCC looks cool, but I didn't pick up any of sonys "remastered collections" on the PS3, and I probably wouldn't get MCC if i had a XO... i think i'd be playing FH2 and SSO for exclusives, and destiny for multiplayer.
