i dont think this game suffers from being repetitive as much as some others do, and not nearly as much as trolls on n4g will say it does... victim of overhype? maybe, but no to me, its living up to my expectations well! im having lots of fun with it, and am hopping online as soon as i get off work to try this new mode! cant wait to get some new gear!
well, so far its only been announced to have 2 dlc packs, which actually means (if thats for the year) it will have less dlc packs than BF or COD... thats a good thing right?

the number at the end is the most BS part of a review... the reasons are whats important. you can have 2 reviewers complain about the same issue, and one gives it a 9, and the other a 7... i'd prefer if the number system went away forever, its useless except in an argument (you shouldn't be having with strangers online anyway! LOL)

if you think the story is weak, its cause you're used to games that have 30min cutscenes to spell out every little detail for you. try playing a souls game, they make you WORK to find out the canon! subtle storytelling is better IMO, but then again i don't like things forced down my throat!
agreed, its funny how the 42 people who come here and complain (about anything, really) really think they're changing the industry! we know who the trolls are, and even WE don't listen to them... the rest of the world doesn't even know they exist!

realistically, the online section really doesn't get to stretch its legs until you REALLY put it under pressure... which is why destinys beta was so extensive! they did their homework!
just because a game doesn't run perfectly day one, doesn't mean its a terrible product, as long as its fixed quickly. now, when the issues are present months later (BF4, im looking at you!) thats when you really have a complaint...

to me, every match online is different, cause theres new people i have to outwit, new strategies i'll need to try... its kinda like playing chess with different people, sure the board and pieces are the same, but each game is different.

i haven't seen a game generate this much hate in a long time... the funny thing is, all these people complaining online are a very very very tiny minority, compared to the MILLIONS logged into destiny right now having a blast! i havent had this much fun in an FPS in a while, playing with 2 friends is awesome! ...maybe thats their problem? make some friends and play with them!
seriously tho, the game is 10X more fun with friends!

no mans sky looks awesome, but so far, ive been dissappointed by every "procedurally generated" game ive played... you see elements repeated over and over, its like someone just quilted the would outta premade parts...
it was created by essentially the same team... look at directors, their movies will tend to feel similar, have similar quality (and quailties)...
its no suprise they're similar. it would be strange if they were too different.
