If Heavenly Sword were to have been released on the XBOX 360 as originally planned, I seriously doubt this game would be receiving the hate it's getting.
On a cinematics and acting standpoint, Heavenly Sword is up there with the likes of Metal Gear Solid. I might be called crazy for thinking that but that's my opinion.
It's been a very long time since I've actually felt the emotion of the characters in a video game. Not since Shenmue at least. Either way, the ending of the game was very heartfelt and I suggest anyone who has access to a PLAYSTATION 3 to play this game.
And for those who complain about the lengt...
Silver Surfer (NES)
Journey to Silius (NES)
Shenmue (Dreamcast)
Streets of Rage (Genesis)
To add, Shenmue's soundtrack is one of the few that "touched" me. Maybe because I know there wont be a part 3.
I've already bought four controllers for my PS3. If I'm not mistaken it can connect up to 7. So I will just buy three rumbles to complete my controller collection.
Shenmue...
I dont understand why Leonskennedy4life would need to spew out lies about running XBOX software on PS3 hardware. I mean, the energy spent on lying and trolling on an opposite system can be used on pushing buttons on YOUR own favorite system.
Halo 3 is a big deal to a lot of XBOX fans out there, let them be happy and enjoy their purchase.
Leon Kennedy,
In the most polite way possible....
How the phq did you get XBOX 360 games to run on your PS3 via linux? That's something I want to see video proof of.
Where's Kaz Hirai when you need him?
David Hayter should play Snake. He does have big screen acting experience and resembles Snake. Having him play Snake would bring more authencity to the movie.
I dont want Yakuza, I want Shenmue III.
Shenmue brings a tear to my eyes. That's what made me buy an XBOX. I had to play part 2. Shenmue III would be the silent AAA console hit if it were announced.
I'm almost certain that fence sitters to the next gen market would purchase whatever console Shenmue III is announced on if it were to happen. 360,PS3 or Wii would see a quiet increase in sales if it were exclusive to one of it's systems.
One of the biggest disaters was the Apple Pippin.
: everybody asks "What's that?" :
..Exactly
For better or for worse Kutaragi IS the playstation. Regardless of him singlehandely hyping a product to a point to it's current critisism. PS3 is a good console and while Kutaragi's PR skills were below par, his designs are not.
Mark my words, he will have something to do with the Playstation 4 which should be in the preliminary stages of development as we speak.
Yeah. Out of all those handhelds that has went against Nintendo, you can say that the PSP is the most successful one. No it will never trump Nintendo, but Sony does have a solid 2nd-3rd place on greatest handhelds of all time only losing out to DS, Game Boy
As much as I respect Sony for trying to push original titles to the PSN, I would also like to see more online versions of good 2D franchises like on XBLA.
Either way, I definately see myself purchasing Echochrome on it's first day. Also a question for me is, I see there's a bowling game coming out, but isnt there a playable bowling game on Home?
This holiday???? psssssssh try this September!!!
Already I've got Warhawk plus Im picking up Heavenly Sword and Halo 3 this month.
You do know people do get paid by their company to troll message boards. Sony and Microsoft utilizes these business practices.
The only other reason I can think that someone would troll so many websites is the fact that pre-teens, teens who are not old enough to work cant take advantage of what being a gamer is about. So they must defend their console that their parents bought them to the death.
You should just pay no attention to those who are still in their pre-teens and feel the need to justify their console that their parents bought them.
I have a feeling that Uncharted will be a great game that fanboys will try to trash with every little bad review.
I will definately be picking this game up myself regardless.
I dont think the judges even listen to his claims anymore.
