As nice as that looks, I'm afraid to ask what the price is. lol.
I loved Bioshock. It's one of the greatest game to hit 360. So as far as overall first time experience, my vote would have to go to Bioshock.
But Halo has the longevity and replay factor that gamers such as myself look for. Once I beat Bioshock, I never played it since. Halo has very simple and addictive multiplayer which adds a different experience every time you turn the game on.
Weighing in on both factors, I would have to rule this one a tie. I'd rather jus...
It will push 360 units for sure. It will push PS3 units for sure. But with prices nearly identical, Sony can edge out the lead on this if they're smart.
Keyword, if they're smart. They would need to convince consumers on how great a multimedia device the PS3 is or else GTAIV will sell more on the wider known XBOX 360 (in america).
In this case if Sony wants to see a spike in sales, Joe Consumer must see the PS3 as more of a bang for your buck. Or else they'll go ...
I will probably purchase the 360 version of Smackdown vs Raw as well. Though the tournament feature is rather invigorating for the PS3, I love the fact that I can create myself and then create my own song to go along with it.
At my age, I consider myself to be more of the hardcore gamer. And littlebigplanet does have that Kids image to it. Which is why I intitally passed up on considering purchase for this game. And if I saw Killzone, MGS, GTAIV etc., I would pass LBP up without a heartbeat because it suits me more.
But then again, if grown ass men/women are saying how great this game is, there's got to be some kind of truth somewhere which is why I'm intrigued enough to play it.

I sort of understand where Lightning is coming from. It's not really my cup of tea more or less. But with all of the positive news I've been reading about this game, I'm more than convinced to give this game a lengthy chance.
No Backwards compatibility? I dont think this is going to fare too well. Be prepared to be flamed Sony owners.
: puts up flame shield :
Glad I got my launch 60gb with the EE.
Dont know about Halo coming to PS3. Microsoft clearly WILL NOT LET THAT HAPPEN BY NO MEANS NECESSARY. But I do hope that Halo DS does see the light of day, cause I do want to play that.
As far as what they do on Sony platforms, I dont know. Oni 2 perhaps? lol. But will be interesting to see how this turns out.
Meus,
I think I understand why they do this. They do it for the sake of strengthening their game catalog. They say there's strength in numbers Nothing more nothing less. I believe they are pushing for this content to say "Why play RPG's on PS3 when the XBOX has (this game, that game etc.) plus Halo 3 and a solid online service etc.?"
Microsoft has closely followed Sony's plans on how to be successful in the gaming industry and the one thing you need is...
Meus,
The question is, WILL it sell in the Western Market? A game like Star Ocean isnt as popular as some of the other titles out in the US, not even more than Grandia I believe. With the PLAYSTATION 3 I could definately see this moving units in Japan and potentially in the West but not as much. With Microsoft's platform, RPG's seem not to get the love it deserves. As with Blue Dragon which I thought was a pretty solid game. I think if Blue Dragon were on the Playstation 3, it ...
Funkytown TX makes people from my city look very bad. Yes I'm from the same great city as his screen name.
Any positive news for Sony seems like a terrible itch when an XBOX fanboy reads it.
My suggestion for Funkytown, TX and other XBOX fanboys is this...
SHUT UP AND GO MULTIPLATFORM. You'll enjoy your gaming life a whole lot more if you do. But I forget, a lot of you cant get your money up like that.
I dont see anything wrong with this. Microsoft is trying to create some RPG awareness on their platform in Japan. They're just trying to do what they need to do to push consoles in Japan.
Am I the only one here who believes WilliamRLBaker does not own a PS3? If you dont own the system, do lie and say you do and talk $hit about it.
Same here. Glad to see a spike in PSP sales. I've always felt the system was underrated and has a good surplus of good games for it.
Resistance Fall of Man hit 1 million a lot quicker than the first Halo:Combat Evolved did...I think. I may be wrong on that.
But anyway, the definition of an AAA game for me is if I perceive the game to be AAA. Keyword is "I". It doesnt matter what any review says, if I'm massively entertained by this game then it goes into the upper echleon of my review. Therefore it's AAA. No magazine or website can make that decision for me.
Example: Even though so...
That's not a bad conspiracy theory Shadow Flare. It does make a little bit of sense.
My theory on the delay is the fact that the game simply sucked. The game lacked a GTA feel to it on the trailer and looked more just like your contemporary, modern day action game. I think what we all seen as Grand Theft Auto IV from the trailer will have no relevance to the final product. I believe Rockstar completely scrapped this current story and redid everything from scratch.

If Jade Raymond developed Hour of Victory, would you buy it still? Looks get you nowhere when developing a game.
But for the record, I would wreck that though.
The mart receives a paycheck from Microsoft. Microsoft does pay people to troll message boards.
I've never heard of this game.
I'm not from Austrailia nor have I ever been there so I'm unfamiliar with their business and consumer cultures. But speaking from a global standpoint, a price cut should fuel the PS3 in all reigons like it did this past summer. So I dont see a reason why PS3 wouldnt sell with a lower price point.
