EA is going down for sure. Especially if Activision creates a console version of Warcraft.
What's next? Activision NFL Football 2010?
As long as the gameplay itself delivers, I can forgive a trailer for being underwhelming.
This is nothing but damage control sent by the execs of Electronic Arts. I do believe EA fully realizes that they have pretty much shot their PS3 fan base and now recognizing the latter. Electronic Arts is known for taking the quick approach to things and this is no different. By buttering up the PS3's capabilities is a way to suck up to the millions of PS3 owners, while still giving the system absolutely NO attention in development.
Just as always, this statement is nothing m...
I get sick of the hate comments when I get on XBOX Live. PSN isnt nearly as bad but I believe that's only because the console itself doesnt come with a headset. The language on PSN really didnt pick up until Warhawk came out.
Videos like these is what made me decide to concentrate on work and women more than video games. I'd waste an entire lifetime trying to get as good as them.
Skerj,
Interesting and telling ideas you've got there. The first Metal Gear is the only one I can recall where Kojima broke the fourth wall. I can see them posing something as far as, enter your cell phone number at the beginning of the game or something like that.
I didnt know this was only the sixth one in the series. Could have sworn it was the 16th. I live in America and as you know, the DW series isnt too popular.
Me personally, the only Dynasty Warrior game I liked was the first one. It was a standard 1-1 fighting game like Soul Blade/Bushido Blade/Toshinden etc.
You know the saying that parents use " I brought you in this world, and I can take you out."? That was the issue with the Playstation 3. The man responsible for Sony's bad image is the same person who was responsible for it's success. Ken Kutaragi. As you can see, Ken was the sole face and image of Sony Computer Entertainment.
Who actually liked the first Killzone. I thought it had some potential. Just flawed in a couple areas. Graphically I felt I could compare it to any XBOX game on the market.
Enough of that though. I could ramble on about how excited I am for Killzone 2, but there's something that must be addressed.
The Marketing.
The strategy behind the marketing on this game has to be executed properly if Sony wants this game to sell and give it a PS3 mainstream pu...
Well it goes without saying my sentiments on this in relation to the Dual Shock 3.
However, I feel that the price of the SIXAXIS controllers should be brand new 19.99-24.99. Especially if Sony intends to charge 50.00 for the DS3 sticks.
Look for that 20.00 price tag to be commonplace next year.
I think it's time for me to brush off the good ol dreamcast and play some vintage Unreal Tournament. In fact, are there any servers up to play UT on the Dreamcast????????????????????? ??????????????????????
Quarter 4 begins in December. Yes technically you can consider it to be a delay. But it was originally scheduled sometime in November which is considered the 3rd Quarter of the year. Technically speaking, you can say that it's been pushed back to a whole 'nother quarter. But realistically it's only a matter of a month to a few weeks.
I'm pretty positive the game will be out in 4th quarter in December. If not, I've got plenty games to tide me over on PS3 and 360 until it's re...
I dont know if most of you have played Indigo Prophecy (Farenheit), but Heavy Rain can be either a sleeper hit or a potential blockbuster title depending on how Sony markets this.
Indigo Prophecy was an excellent game with fresh and innovative concepts, but the game was clearly rushed and you can tell by the unspectactular ending. I would like to think that with Heavy Rain being exclusive to PS3, Sony will make Quantic Dream delay the game if need be to ensure that the game is...
I would love to go back to the days where I could get me a game of Killer Instinct, spend about 10 dollars on Ultimate MK:3, Tekken 2 and then pop in about 1 dollar and play some DAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYTOO OOOOOOOOOONNNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
He had 9000 and all he bought was a Wii? I'm not an advocate of theft but if you're going to steal money, at least spend it on something worth the efforts of your theft. lol.
To each his own. I honestly felt that Fight Night was and still is one of the most graphically impressive titles of next-gen. And this is accounting on both consoles. Not to mention the gameplay was solid. From someone who played the craptacular Knockout Kings series on PS1 and PS2, you can learn to appreciate the significant improvement Fight Night made.
Now Def Jam sucked. No denying that. They should have went with a next gen AKI engine. In fact, AKI should not have used it...
I'm thinking that it's one of those split decision opinions. Half of them love it, and half of them dont. I kind of want to check it out myself, but I dont want to spend the high dollar amount for it.
That's unfortunate for the employees at EA Chicago and even more unfortunate for the gamers. If I'm not mistaken, EA Chicago was responsible for the SOLE QUALITY EA SPORTS PRODUCT Fight Night Round 3. If you can remember, the PS3 version ran at a smoother frame rate with noticable graphical enhancements. Not to mention that the Next Gen Def Jam game also ran exactly the same on PS3 as it did 360.
It looked as if EA Chicago was pretty solid in utilizing PS3 hardware.

I'm from the good ol U S of A and I will be downloading this as soon as I get home from work.
But the issue with this being US only is very contradictive of what Sony's system is about. I mean why cant Europeans download the demo for their platform, but yet they can buy the US version and play it on PAL PS3's?
It doesnt make any sense.
In all seriousness, I think it could blow gamers away if 3D realms were to release playable versions of the PS1/Saturn/N64 ports, Dreamcast/PS2/Xbox ports. I would be floored and would pick this game up.
