as I thought, Onlive is a fantastic idea... but with the current internet infastructure it is a damn near impossible to use it in a way that could make it sucessful. I don't know all that many people with a 3-5 mbps internet connections. It will likely die before the internet can catch up to the idea.
I dunno, my computer is a tool not a toy. Why waste time and hd space on gaming on pc. There's productive things you can do with the damn thing.
Consoles are made to be played with.

Damn, you ps3 kids have wayyy more patience then i do. Who knew 30 minute + installs and updates would become so acceptable from what is supposed to be the pinnacle of this gen.

Runaway win for wii... at least in motion control sales. It's still possible either 360 or ps3 could surprise everyone and beat out wii for a holiday season. However, my guess is if you count the sales of move and kinect bundles compared to wii sales. It will become obvious which motion control method consumers had chosen.
It's the same reason why droid and zune could crap gold and wishes but will never outsell the ipod or iphone.
So among the people who are interested in the device, whatever that number might be, 60% of that unspoken number of people who interested in the device own a wii... ok.
BTW, can anyone read what the hell the source is on that it's light grey type on a dark grey background in tiny tiny resolution.

Powerglove only got a cameo in the Wizard and yes it did suck. But i'd say the wizard centered more around SMB 3... which was mind blowing to me as a kid.
In the end powerglove came off as a rich kids peripheral. At least to me. Maybe parallels can be drawn to that. Kinect is yet another expensive wonky add-on with few games, just like the powerglove.
Looks like wii is set to beat ps2 before it's cycle is over. based on the fact nintendo highlighted this I suspect they want to smash ps2's number this gen before moving to the next system.
Those kids who started gaming on ps2 are gonna be pissed when that happens.
