Actually it will be able to handle quite a few HD ports because it's outputting to a lower resolution screen. Meaning you can make games that look as good as HD games because the system is outputting to a smaller screen. It can look every bit as good as an hd system only because of the lil screen it's outputting to. If you blew it up to a real 1080p HD screen it would look awful but because of it's a small, set size more can be done. Does that make sense?

Have you seen the gameplay videos? The only thing in japanese in that game is the dialogue, the rest is English. Even battle related text is English. It's pretty likely it will be translated, especially since it's been confirmed for Europe. Which almost guarantees an US release. Unless the game sucks... but based on that packaging, Nintendo seems pretty proud of this product.
Hmmm... there's an awful lot of English in that game for something everyone is claiming is never going to hit american shores. My guess is, it's headed to America, probably sooner then anyone thinks. I mean watch that video, all the battle text, menus and even the "now loading" is english. The only thing in japanese is the dialog. They wouldn't do something like that unless they were planning to translate it.

Eh, it's just upscaled. not like they actually improved any of the graphics or visuals it's just there isn't any low rez flicker and i guess that's it.
Frame rate looks 60 on both too. The issue i have is mostly if the move feels as responsive. I tried a few move pointer controls and it's a wee bit laggy. not by all that much but side by side wii pointers more responsive and sensitive.
Odd since it's been so successful. I wonder if their dissolving or streamlining or just "ucking Warren Spectre up the #%$

Agreed RDR should have won! Why the hell was Heavy rain even on that list? Didn't GOW come out last year? I played the hell out of that and loved it, rented Hevey rain and am so happy I did. They need to make an award for ass voice acting and u8nimpressive plot just for that game.

I dunno, last i checked the GBA version was quite simply a straight port. I noticed no difference in difficulty. Actually no differences at all.
I want them to do with FFVI what they did with FFIV on ds... but wait until 3ds and make it incredible.
FFVI(III) is the one square should be updating and rereleasing. I find IV was impressive for it's time but compared to 6. It looks tame. Maybe 6 is such a complex masterpiece square doesn't even know how to update it and keep everything that made it great.

damn, based on what i've seen of this game... it could possibly be the best game of this generation... and it'll be on wii with absolutely no chance of porting to anything but a nintendo console since it's practically first party nintendo.
