I try not miss any great deals that come my way. If a game is on my wishlist and it is being sold for under $10 then I buy it regardless of my backlog.
Bad luck. Feel sorry for you man. I always wait for the flash sale on the third friday of the month before buying anything. Got 3 games for $24 only. :D
Now I am waiting for a Bloodborne flash sale. My goal is to buy games when they under $10 most of the time. I save a lot of money that way. I can get 6 games or even more for the same $60 which would have gotten me only 1 game if I bought Day One or without sale.
There isnt any touch up I think but the cell shaded art style makes it kind of timeless. It has aged quite well and look great even today. Furthermore, 1080p makes the image much clearer and crisper. In one of the reviews I watched, the reviewer even called the improvement "dramatic."

It isnt downplaying; it is a fact. Releasing these kind of meaningless numbers only serve to obfuscate the facts and figures. MAU, engagements, head shots, zombies killed and millions of hours are just made up numbers used by MS to hide cold and hard facts such sales, revenues, chart positions and number of downloads. Forza keeps improving in quality while GT keeps falling... It is sad to see one of the oldest racing franchises decline while a relatively newer franchise beating it consistently. Even though Forza has a much quicker release cycle, they do not let the quality slide. Anyway, congrats to Forza for reaching new heights of quality and gameplay.
It is just a term Tabata used in his delay announcement video the other day. Basically, Master Version means the game has gone gold and this is the version that we will get to play. They probably use the term "Master Version" in Japan instead of "Gone Gold."

Even in the US, in order to narrow the gap Xbox One will need to sell more than PS4 consistently and by a significant margin. Improving the sales but still selling less, even if by a single unit, means that the gap will remain forever.

The bigger the hype, the bigger the disappointment... The problem with this game was that the studio did not properly communicate what the game actually was. As a result, everybody imposed their own expectations on the game and imagined what it will be like and what they will be doing. When the game finally released it met nobody's expectations because those expectations were imaginary.

This game definitely seems like going through development troubles otherwise they would have shown some live gameplay by now. It keeps missing all major gaming events too. The game was announced FOUR YEARS AGO afterall.
I say that is great news. Now finally the Xbox fanboys can stop bashing this game just because it was not on their platform of choice. To them, being a Playstation exclusive automatically makes any game bad and worth "criticism."
