Dude, this isnt some kind of political, moral or theological battle that you have to get so serious and obsessive. You have written several essays by now against Sony trying to prove they are bad and gamers should not support them. These are just companies that provide me with a little entertainment in my daily life. In the end, the only thing I care about are the games that I want to play and I buy the console where I can play them.
And dont you get tried of defending Nintendo blindly for so long? You guys cant even take a critique of Nintendo without getting offended like somebody insulted your mother. I do not understand this blind loyalty of Nintendo fanboys. Do they feed you guys? Do they pay your bills? Do they pay for your medical treatments? Where is this blind loyalty coming from??
They obviously had no choice given the horrendous performance of the "Master Version." There is still a lot of fine tuning and optimization that needs to be done to stabilize frame rate, reduce pop-in, improve anti-aliasing, improve texture quality, and eliminate bugs.
However, there is definitely one drawback of the delay. The marketing hype will lose steam if not completely die down. They held the huge Uncovered event, were releasing anime episodes until release...
Well, it was VERY successful in the beginning and they made a LOT of money but we all know how it ended. The Wii did not go out with a bang like PS3 but a whimper as the fad died and the bubble burst. Wii's demise was just as stellar as its rise when sales suddenly dropped off the cliff.
The console would have been truly successful if it lasted the whole generation with steady sales and built loyal Nintendo customers for the future. Unfortunately, casuals were fickle fr...
"A person who tries to ride two boats at once with one leg in each is destined to drown."
It happened with the Wii U when they tried to tack on a tablet to appeal to the casuals as well as court 3rd parties for the hardcore. As it turned out, the casuals were not interested Wii U and the developers were not interested in forcefully using that tablet in their games. Nintendo has to choose only one boat. Either go ...
They are still going after moms instead of just gamers?? They keep trying that Blue Ocean strategy hoping for another Wii success but forget that it does not always works. Blue Ocean strategy is very hard to pull off. If it works, you hit the jackpot but it doesnt, you end up broke.
For those unfamiliar with the concept that has often been mentioned by Nintendo, it is a Business strategy taught in Business Administration courses. Basically you can launch a similar product a...
I bet I know much more about RE than you; I have been playing them since the first RE game released in the mid 90s. Yes, I have read what he has said but I haven't SEEN what he has said. They have said that there will be guns and resource management but there hasn't been a single video showing it. This is the second video and still no weapons or resources in sight. My comment is based on what they have shown. Even if guns and resource management are there, fi...
Man, you are outright trolling now. You submit an article from your own website, promote it yourself by posting in comments and even try to stir up the users to gain clicks. You dont have an ounce of dignity and journalistic integrity. You are basically screaming "hey check out this article on our website! Your console sucks and you are all fanboys!"
CAPCOM is one of the most deluded, deaf and stubborn companies out there. They always do what they want and then suffer the consequences while wondering what went wrong. Megaman series shelved, DMC series rebooted/killed, Resident Evil turned into action, Breath of Fire series killed, Dino Crisis series killed, and several other franchises buried by them. CAPCOM used to be one of the biggest developers and publishers in the gaming industry. Today they do not even have the money to develop ...
All those pics had already confirmed it was real. September 7 is still so far away... I want to find out everything about PS4 Neo and this slim model. I think they will launch this slim model as just "PS4" for $250 while the PS4 Neo will sell for $400 or $450. If you just want to play games then buy PS4 and if you want 4K features and all the bells and whistles then buy the Neo.
I think the message is clear and Sony should ensure that it is clear for consumers. Pe...
Agreed. Sony is simplifying the message. A slim, affordable and basic model for everybody who just wants to play games. And a premium but more expensive model with all the bells and whistle for people who want the latest and greatest features.
If you want 4K features and support then just buy the Neo model. If you dont have a 4K TV then buy the regular slim model. Does it matters if it has 4K support when you dont even own a 4K TV? And if you can afford a 4K TV then you can...
WHAT!? Man, I definitely disagree. The quality has undoubtedly decreased since the PS3 era. The discounts, the exclusive content, the free games and all other benefits of PS plus have decline in quality. Now they are increasing the price... It is kind of angering given the quality of free game they have been handing out and lack of exclusive discounts, offers or sales. I am a Playstation fan too but I definitely not a blind fanboy.
The box does not says slim and PS4 has not been changed as well. Maybe they are not going to introduce it as slim and just call it PS4 like always. It will make sense instead of confusing the customers with 3 models: PS4, PS4 Slim and PS4 Neo.
Does it truly matters if it has 4K capabilities or not?? I mean REALLY? How many of us have 4K TVs at home? How many of us own big enough TVs to need 4K resolution? How many of us have 4K TVs that support HDR? How many of us can spot the difference in colors due to HDR? How frequently do we consume 4K content in our daily lives?
As of 2014, ONLY 1% of the US households had a 4K TV. You can search that on the internet; it is a fact. Even by 2019 only 38% of the US households...
Well, it does apply to Sony Playstation as well; at least I admit it as a Playstation fan. I dont know how this new console model will workout with new consoles, slim models and mid-gen refreshes all coming in within 5 years. It is a first so nobody knows how the customers will react. I definitely think that many will opt to wait for the superior hardware if it is coming soon and the price difference is not too much. It does not matters if it is in the case of Scorpio or the Neo. In the end, ...
Star Citizen has a $119 million budget and 300+ developers. No Man's Sky was made by a team of 14 or something people. Moreover, Star Citizen has still no release date after 4-5 years of development. It is just a series of demos and broken modules that backers play in order to make themselves feel better about their decision to contribute. Moreover, let me know when Star Citizen OFFICIALLY releases as a FINISHED and COMPLETE game. Not as a "minimum viable product" as they said.

Looks like the haters and naysayers have some crows and hats to eat. This here is proof that PSVR provides an immersive high quality VR experience and works great with the standard PS4. Other high end VR headsets may offer more features and superior VR experience but they also cost much more. PSVR has made some sacrifices but it offers the best value for money.
Millions still play. Destiny is made for RPG and MMO fans. It is not a traditional FPS game. That is why many people dont like it. The light level is basically iLvl found in MMORPGs. Then there are raids, daily quests, weekly quests, jobs/classes, loot drop rates, vanity items, the never-ending grinding and many other MMORPG concepts. You need to love RPGs and specifically MMORPGs in order to love Destiny.
