That.... does not looks very good... and that is coming from a PS4 owner and fan. The car and lighting looks great but the environment looks bad... The trees look like cardboards placed in just the right position and the grass on sides is just a flat texture. The spectators also look like mannuequins that barely move. Even if we ignore the spectators which are inconsequential to the game, the environment still should look better for a next-gen game. In comparison Forza Horizon 3 looks gorgeou...
I immediately saw and thought "AndromedaLs??" WTF is that?? Then I realized that it was a typo and space was missing making it looking like LS instead of IS. Lol.
This game is bombing. Looks like retailers are having a hard time moving stock so they have been forced to give discounts just couple of days after release. EA and Bioware were trying to hide the issues with the game through sudden short release date, limited previews and last day review embargoes but it all blew up in their face. Had they been confident in their game, they would have set the embargo earlier similar to Horizon Zero Dawn.
Or that it is "solid" or "decent..." and 7 is a good score. As if that is enough for a Mass Effect game! All Mass Effect games are outstanding games with 90+ metascores. A solid or decent game with good MP is not enough.
What the hell?? That looks terrible! What is wrong with Kyo's face?? He looks like an ogre! Real-time cutscenes and gameplay look better than that these days. Even FFX CGs on PS2 look better. SNK is still stuck in the PS2 era with their graphics and need to do better.
The people who say exclusives do not matter are the same ones who were touting the "greatest games linup in history" just a couple of years ago. When you have them they matter, and when you dont, then they dont matter. Continuous flip flop.
The same thing happened during last gen when exclusives mattered at the start of the gen when Xbox 360 had them. But as soon as Xbox 360 exclusives dried up and PS3 kept pumping out games like Ni no Kuni, The Last of Us, Tales ...
People wanted an outstanding game that set new standards in storytelling, characterization, visuals and gameplay. Decent and solid just do not cut it for a game that belongs to a series with 90+ metascores and lauded for being ground breaking in its time.
How are the story, characters, voice acting, sidequests, and choices? Any meaningful impact of those choices or both /all dialogues lead to the same conclusion? Because those are the main draws of an RPG. If I just want to shoot things and enjoy combat then I can play proper shooters instead.
Loved Dante as kid when Devil May Cry launched on PS2. Still like him but dont find him as cool and awesome as I did as a kid. Lol. Another beloved icon and franchise killed and buried by Capcom similar to Regina (Dino Crisis), Ryu (Breath of Fire), and Megaman.
CAPCOM has been mostly surviving on ports and remasters for the past several years. In fact they have been making ports of ports of ports...They just announced a RE Revelations port for current gen which itself was a port of a 3DS game. A Code Veronica port is not hard to believe. Not to mention the numerous ports of Resident Evil 4... I guess it is a cheap way to make money but I would prefer if they revived some of the old franchises and made new games in them such as Devil May Cry, Dino Cr...
And if you buy ME: Andromeda then you support shoddy development, substandard effort, and bug ridden games. In 2017, the game absolutely needed to meet modern RPG standards in storytelling, writing, graphics, character modelling, animations, facial expressions, voice acting, quest design, and performance. "Solid" is not enough for a AAA game with a 40 million development budget that belongs to a series which has a history of 90+ metascores and breaking new ground in storytelling in ...
Yes, the worlds are beautiful and combat is great... BUT there is also the poor writing like "my face is tired," poor character models, terrible animations, terrible hair, bad voice acting, mediocre story, mind-numbing fetch quests, and TONS of bugs that dont belong in a 2017 game. Especially when older games have done those things better. It is a cinematic RPG where you look at and listen to characters for hours so you just cannot ignore the animations, voice acting, graphics and c...
Yeah, I remember reading that too somewhere. The gameplay runs at 60 fps but the replays run at 30fps with improved graphics. But still the graphics look amazing. There shouldnt be a huge difference between gameplay and replay graphics.
No wonder he gave it a 5.5 based on what he experienced of the game. The game's graphics, animations, story and script are a mess. To top it off it is a glitchfest. Here is just one of his experiences with the game.
"Me and my crew were infiltrating an enemy vessel. We had made a lot of progress when we came to a major, 10-minute long fight. After the rumble, I reached a section of a trap where the doors would close and lock right before I would cross their thresho...
Agreed. Fanboys will try to spin it that 6 is suddenly good by using the full 1-10 scale. The game has a legacy to live up to so 6.5 is just bad. Period. Besides no reviewer uses the full 1-10 scale. It is used between 5-10 only because it is impossible to objectively differentiate the quality of a game on 10 different points. So 5 or below means terrible. 6 means subpar. 7 means average. 8 means good but with problem holding it back from reaching full potential, 9 means great with some minor...
So he needs to waste $60 first and then tell you that it sucks? Will you then agree with him then that it sucks or will you move the goalpost again? The game is a flop man, give it up.
Nice clickbait... I thought they were talking about THAT booty... but they are talking about just booty... you know, Loot? Guns? Gear? I fell for it...
