To be fair, all consoles have some kind of issues in the first batch of shipment. Some faulty and malfunctioning hardware comes with the territory when it comes to electronics and technology. When you are willing to buy products at launch then you should be prepared for such issues. Personally, I wait at least a year or more before I buy a new product. I was burnt pretty badly by my PS2 and wasted a lot of money on it trying to get it fixed and eventually had to buy a new one after a couple o...
Agreed. The downsides of this hybrid concept were so evident ever since the details regarding the console started to come out. I have said long before these reviews came out that in an attempt to create a device that is both a handheld and a home console, Nintendo might end up creating something that is neither. The Switch is too big and expensive to be a handheld and is too underpowered and feature-wise lacking to be a home console.
Man, I love these guys the most! They are one of the most talented and hard-working developers in the world right now. To top it off they are very nice, caring, generous and consumer-friendly. I love my standard Witcher 3 copy which came with so many goodies that it looks like a collector edition.
The game is actually in people's hands right now and they can easily decide themselves. It would have been overhyping if the game was 6 months away from release.
Oh come one man, people have different opinions. The best game on a platform can vary depending on the person. If you think another game is the best on PS4 then it is fine. And if somebody else thinks Horizon is the best for him then that is fine as well. Who cares? Oh and care to mention what game you think is the best ever on PS4 since you disagree so strongly with the author? Just curious.
Well that is subjective and more of an opinion. Each person's "best game" can be different on the same platform. For me it is Witcher 3 right now I will play Horizon and see if that opinion changes.
It does look marvelous but you do realize that it is running on GTX 980 ti, i7-2600k @4.5 Ghz, and 16GB RAM Win 10? Furthermore, it is not open world RPG but a closed map FPS?
Yeah, sure sure. Care to share your PSN ID? Just want to see how many trophies you have got in the game... and maybe confirm if you even have a PS4 and the game. lol
Moreover, in case of PS Now, you do not lose the games once they are cycled out. In case of Game Pass, even if you have the game downloaded, you cannot play it once it is cycled out.
A very important point in this service that I didnt know and havent seen others mention is that the games will be cycled each month. Once a game is removed from the catalog, you can no longer play it. The catalog does not keeps growing; it is cycled/changed each month. Furthermore, in order to motivate people to actually purchase the game, there is a 20% discount for the games that are present in the Game Pass catalog at the moment. In other words, this service is just a rental where you can ...

I have said it too that the Switch is a jack of all trades but a master of none. In an attempt to create a hybrid, Nintendo has created a console that is neither a home console, nor a handheld. I see a hardware revision and price drop coming very soon in order to fix the current issues and improve sales.
Have fun playing online. Oh... it cant.... Oh well, have fun playing in docked mode! Oh... it cant... because the controllers get out of sync, lag and disconnect. Oh well... you can still play on the go... at least for 3 hours... And then you have to charge it for 3 hours... Oh and good luck finding something to play after you finish LoZ.
Finally, somebody who gets it and is not falling for PR and hype. A steady stream of high quality exclusive games is actually what makes or breaks a gaming console. Not bonus/secondary features, updates, services and subscriptions. People were praising and hyping EA Access and BC the same way last time and see how much difference they made to Xbox One's fortunes.
Dude, first of all just stop your pathetic attempts at sounding eloquent, informed and intelligent. If you were even half as intelligent as you are pretending to be then you would not have been asking to "site" my sources for a business strategy and also would have known about the losses that MS incurred over the Xbox Division. Hell, you cant even spell "cite" properly, Mr. erroneous financials. You are nothing but a pretentious fraud who has no ...
PSNow did not offer full PS4 games; it only offered PS3 games. It was an alternative to lack of BC on PS4 instead of a current-gen game subscription service. On the other hand, Game Pass offers you current gen Xbox One games so that you do not need to buy them individually.
@Stiggs
First of all, we know nothing about Scorpio and what form it will take. MS as a whole has been transitioning to a service-based model and a closed...
