No company in China is independent of the Chinese communist party or it's influence. It's not a joke China has been for year trying to shift world perception through money dumped into media especially in America and Europe. Why do you think lots of major movies have had endings and other stuff in China? Transformera the last knight had it's ending place in China because of Chinese money being in the movie industry. Yeah no if the Union be comes corrupt then the memebers that make it up were corrupt to start as well. It's up to the members to police their Union and keep it honest but most members are like most voters they give two shyts about what is happening in the Union as long as they can go to work and make a good wage they don't care about meetings, news or the inner workings of the organization.
