You act like D2 drop rates are any better cause they aren't. If they want D2 to feel like destiny 1 they should of kept going with Destiny 1. D1 was in a pretty good place after rise of iron.

As you illuded too the number of Xbone's available for preorder could have been lower than that available for Ps5. The sample size in this is pretty small I would have liked to see a much larger number. It could also be those that couldn't order a Ps5 decided to get and Xbone preorder because they plan to own both anyway. It could also be generally preorder numbers are low to begin with and thus makes it easy to sell out and create artificial demand.

I've spent 1500hrs in D2. I have everything but the Pvp weapons like luna's etc. I enjoy the game but honestly I'm just storing materials waiting for Ps5 and beyond light to drop now that I've finished the festival triumphs and double nightfall rewards are over I probably won't play much besides stacking bounties for new light
