Switch being neck and neck in the US with PS4 is not PS4 "dominating". Nintendo dominating japan is not the PS4 dominating. And the PS4 dominating EU is not the PS4 dominating world wide.

Well they already do seasom passes. What I see happening is an increase in base price with the same DLC practices that we see today.
To me, unless the base game is worth my time, I will find another game to play. DLC being anything more than just something extra will not see my money.
Not really. The PS4 is only really dominating in EU, where Switch still has a healthy presence. In the US however, their sales are consistently neck and neck.
And Japan is the opposite of EU, where Switch dominates and PS4 had a healthy presence. Like it or not, both sit on top together in the grand scheme of things.

I love GoW, def my game of the year. But because I do not herald it as the second coming through suggesting that many gamers have many different preferences in the games they play, they want to call me wrong? Maybe it is because I mentioned both top quality Nintendo games alongside the Sony ones, and they feel a bit insecure?

...are all just as good as GoW. The thing is, all of these game play differently, so it is not feasible to call one better than the other. I am a diverse gamer and all of these appeal to me, but some of these GoW included, will not appeal to every person...
BC for PS5 would stop PS4 sales from ever reaching PS2, maybe even Wii depending on how soon the PS5 drops.
It would certainly be a smart move however because the PS5 would curb stomp the competition right out of the gate.
If they wait till 2020 to releasethe PS5, it will def outsell the Wii. If it comes earlier, like some believe, it might slow PS4 sales to land just shy or around the same as Wii.
I for one think that it will release in 2020 and will be chasing that PS2 benchmark. That one however will be a much harder record to break.

Well deserved, the game is fantastic.
As someone who owns all 3 consoles, XBox gamers are missing out on a lot on the playstation side alone.
However, if you want those games, get a PS4 instead. The fact that these articles exist is why it is so pointless to even bother with XBox anymore. They should be offering a decent exclusive lineup of their own, not leaving fans wishkng they had more.
