too bad, I bet even if they add support for mkv container, they won't add proper support for ASS subtitle files. my "LED" TV can't play those subtitles and generally sucks at playing MKV.
edit: yeah, converting files with subtitles simply takes too long. And good quality streaming with PS3 media center doesn't work well over WiFi, so I ended up connecting my laptop directly.

the fat looks cooler to me, but that maybe because I bought one for $500 two years ago with PS2 emulation. Still, I don't have any regrets even I generally use it for playing PS2 games, bluray and streaming from my computer.
