I only played it for a few hours, and I am sure I heard that pleasant splat sound a hundred times at least. And it is kind of linear. But I still love it, it reminds me of Mario and Half Life.

The only way anything like NXE or Home is going to spur sales of their respective consoles is through a ton of hype and word of mouth(esp. concerning their ease of use and fun). And there is a ton of hype already.

I love GTA4, it had its style but it felt like an entirely new game when compared to its predecessors. The activities weren't that good. I also played Saints Row 1 and loved that game for being so retarded and silly.
I don't care what you say about Saints Row but its shooting mechanics were really good. In this, GTA4 was like Gears of War but Saints Row is more like playing the older GTA games on PC and so, imo it was a lot more fun.
