Multiplayer looks like fun and from when we saw it was in early development. Custom level editing looks cool.
@TripC50: Just because of sales does not mean it is not a classic. Next generation people will move on to the next big thing. Then after that they will move on to the other big thing. But if it is memorable and a classic it will go throughout the ages, then people over the ages will remember it even if it is not the next big thing. It will always be there.

THQ went bankrupt so they had no one to fund it. Nintendo is stepping in to fund and help develop what the team wanted to. This game would not exist without Nintendo funding the game. Nintendo is even giving advice with development (everyone knows when Nintendo gives 2rd party advice it always makes the game better). That is why it is a Nintendo exclusive I.P.
No game is like Zelda. The puzzles in zelda alone make the series more unique then the entirety of Witcher.

I am mad at the people that were spreading rumors that Nintendo was stopping production. Anyways, hope I get a new stock in my city soon. My local best buy estimated it could take as long until March. Hope I don't have to wait that long. (I regret not preordering it instead of expecting there to be enough stock)
Nintendo is making butt loads of money from these. So far Nintendo has done a good job making people want to buy them because of their rarity. Amiibo is hot business. You're just to so to grab it off the shelf. :p

Just keep making games and advertise them. Nintendo will be fine even if the wii u is not selling good.
They are making amazing games and I am happy. And if the consumer is happy and the company is doing fine, that is all that really matters.
The wii u is probably one of the most underrated consoles ever.

The games you listed do not interest me in the slightest except for maybe no mans sky. I would honestly have a bunch of amazing exclusive then sub par 3rd party games I can get for my super powerful pc. Unity? Far cry 4? Cod? Those sports games, shooters? Am I really missing out if I dont play those games? All those multiplates people have been saying the wii u needs have been nothing but mediocre imo.

The amount of exclusives is incredible. Heck, 2015 will probably be the best year in Nintendo console exclusives history.

Hope it is good if they will make it. I really want a good Mario movie though it is hard to make a good story from an underdeveloped character. Mario's character is limited so he is able to fit into so many different genres. Sadly, I don't know if one of those genres is movies.

I am personally mixed on this. The Super Mario series being my favorite game series of all time, I am afraid that if this is true, will be a repeat of what happened with the live action Mario movie. Though when they say film, it could be a short film or a full length movie. Though with the quote "I am the proud father of Mario the animated film." Rumored to be from Avi Arad from Sony. Could mean an actual full film.
Why is this in the wii u section of N4G?
Best games makes best console. People will be hating wii u but I dont care. I'll be having fun. They can miss out all they want and say what ever 3rd party game is not on there. I'll be sitting back with a controller in my hands playing awesome games. In a way, me being the minority playing this underrated system makes me feel unique. I can look back and say I did not follow the crowd. So far I am glad I did not.
