By now it is impossible because of how much money they are making off of it. They will never give the rights to spyro (which is in the spyro universe).

We are seeing a lot of that classic Square+Nintendo relationship in games like Bravely default which is exclusive to 3ds. So I think that old relationship is slowly rebuilding. That being said, Square will seem to continue to have a strong presence on Sony consoles mainly due to their big success of Sony consoles in the past. And knowing that Square likes to go where the money is, PS4 is selling really well so they will continue to stay with Sony.

This is really not anything new. We already knew this. I really don't care either. Wii u is offering the best games and as long as Nintendo is not losing money and pumping out the best games of each generation, that is all that matters to me.
I would rather have Nintendo buy sega. It just makes sense. Not having Sonic in smash bros would suck.
I think the shortages actually made sales higher, many people want to order an amiibo when it is available due to it's rariarity.

"Great games have great endings." Unnecessary rant: Not all games. Some games don't even end such as Animal crossing. So in a way, are you saying Animal crossing is not a great game because it does not have an ending? Also, great games like Super Mario Sunshine have bad endings yet it is a great game. Or NES games that simply say "Thanks for playing."

They seem to be succeeding knowing how many they have sold already. They tied with 36% of the NFC marketplace last Holiday season with Disney Infinity also owning 36%, and Skylanders having 28% of the market place.
