Honestly.... Microsoft and Sony both makes these kind of comments every generation. We won’t know if they learned any lessons until the consoles release. Hopefully we get great competition from both sides! That’s always better for gamers!!
@Christopher
Supermassive utilized the light bar in Until Dawn. They used a lot of the DS4 features. That’s probably the reason for the article. I’m just sayin...
I’m pretty sure I read that the devs don’t have to know the ins and outs of the new SSD. It will automatically optimize for the devs. So maybe 3rd party devs can still get the most out of the SSD.
Just do a Resident evil 4 remake for next gen systems!! I know the game is great how it is but some polish and a few changes here and there! I’d love to play it again!!
@kumakai
Ima call bull&$@t right now!!
It will in FACT make open world game design better! If what they say is true about not having to create some sort of elevator or loading area. Then it will change level layouts and open worlds completely!
Finally the voice of reason!!
What if all this is just Sony doing the ole “rope a dope”. They let MS do all the talking and have all the confidence. Then when they’re tired and think it’s all over... BOOM! Sony starts releasing feature after feature that puts MS on the ropes! Ms tries for one last rally! They release their price... then Sony undercuts it by 100$! Sony with a 12th round knockout and all the momentum going into launch! Hey it’s just my opinion I could be wrong! Just think about how exciting this would make ...
I knew from the moment I seen Mario on dreams this was coming. Really Nintendo?? You know Mario will still sell millions even though it’s on dreams.... right? It’s to the point I’m scared to draw a picture of Mario! Someone from Nintendo will come out of the bushes and take it!! SMH.
Please tell me how they are dropping the ball. They’re just taking a little more time. If you knew that it would cost you $100 million if you just came right out with the ps5 reveal would you do it? They are gonna slowly build momentum for the ps5 and then they drop the bomb! That’s just my opinion. I could be wrong, but they haven’t dropped the ball!
Dude? What in the actual hell are you talking about? I’ve played every RE. There is nothing wrong with the reboots!
Everybody is really missing the point. First off Cerny said at launch most of the top 100 games will be playable. He didn’t say that they were gonna stop there. If you remember not every game was BC on Xbox one at first. Sony was just in a position where they totally change the architecture of their system after PS3. The BC library will grow more and more over time. I bet 95% of the games that anyone would wanna play will be ready at launch. By the time we get through with the launch games I ...
The custom SSD should work way better than the all mighty cloud! Lol!
1) this in no way was marketing 2) this was totally geared towards GDC and developers. I’m pretty sure this was just to get the specs out. When we see the console, the UI, and the controller marketing will have a say. We also have to remember this is on the road to the PS5. Most journeys are boring in the beginning. That’s just my opinion.
Is it really way more powerful? I mean really?
They probably have no choice with everything being built in together! As long as they don’t charge an ungodly amount I’m fine with it!
You can look games up on IMDB.
I said the same thing about BotW! It just wasn’t fun! That’s just my opinion.
Ok the thing is going digital and streaming can be two different things. With digital once you buy it it’s yours... unless you’re banned or something crazy. With streaming if you don’t pay the monthly bill the game is unplayable. What happens when everything turns to streaming and there’s 15 different ways you gotta pay to get what you want? I mean look at movies and TV. If you wanna watch everything you’re paying damn near as much as cable or dish packages. If greed really takes hold of stre...
@shadow
The PS4 and PS4 Pro do not support UHD. I mean I love Sony but just sayin!
