This dude has no idea what he's talking about! He's against the neo and the Scorpio. Then he say he's fine with the Scorpio because Microsoft has a plan. Then he trashes the neo because it's a cash grab. He talks about vr for some reason. He brings up rise of the tomb raider being in vr when it's really just a small part of the game. This whole thing is really just a rant with meaningless points!
I agree! We don't even know if this will be a successful strategy! Sony has said that neo is not the next iteration or generation of PlayStation. Scorpio is however a next gen console.
If the smartphone market hasn't collapsed then I'm sure that the gaming market will be fine!
This is not a bad thing! Sony could launch this year and with the specs so close to the Scorpio... They'll have a considerable head start!
A lot of people will want the power now instead of later. Then when Scorpio comes out we'll start hearing rumors of a ps5.

This title is so misleading! Sony has a very profitable music side! They also have there movies and Tvs. When they figure out how to make there 4K tv more affordable they will start to pick up there. The PlayStation has been profitable for awhile. The PS3 probably took a hit but it was really ambitious for the time. It came along at the beginning of a recession. It was just bad pricing and bad timing. If Nintendo can hang around Sony will be fine!

Everybody forgets that the PS3 life cycle was the longest generation. Before then they lasted five years. Now everybody gets outraged to hear that this cycle will be like the rest! Tech moves so much faster now. There will be so many advances just in the next two years. The devs will need more power if they want to make great games!
It can only be one of two things. It's either in development hell because of cloud computing or they're waiting for the raw power that Scorpio has.
They just said that it exist. That's it no specs or release window.

Your talking about a few months! Sony released games all year! Your also forgetting No Mans Sky. To this point I can think of at least 6 exclusives. How many has Xbox had to this point?
I think that's one of the greatest things about ps plus. They spotlight indie studios each month. They really put indie studios front and center on the ps store. That was one show! Just because they didn't show anything this year means nothing! Sony will still push the indie studios! They always have.
I thought they Microsoft said that the 4K was for streaming. That means it won't have a 4K blu-ray player. I could be wrong but sure someone can find the article.

Cleft is saying that if your own a pc and a lot of people do. Then you won't need an Xbox. That cuts out a couple of million consoles! I've been saying the whole time Microsoft really wants to grow the Windows store! They will in a sense just be selling games. If they sale a console or two that's fine. That's why spencer made the comment about console numbers don't matter. That's all the proof I need!
We need a bump to the gpu and the ram!! Other than that the 4+ teraflops will be fine. The gpu will make the graphics look sick!!
