I am bit torn apart if blu ray is needed.Is blu ray needed for console without HDD,yes i think it is.But good ol dvd with console with 250Gb hdd is more than enough.That said,360 is not maxed out.

I think it looks like something similar to GOW III,hack and slash.I think that MS got enough of fanboys saying 360 cant produce amazing looking game so they hired Crytek.Well im good with that.

I dont know where did you watch it but on live stream it was pretty low quality but i could see that its much better then Gears 2.Anyway...we shall wait for some nice HD footage ;)

That mere 15% of xcpu is nothing,todays games are gpu bound,not cpu and since from cpu you can always get more performance with careful optimizing and proper planing same cant be applied on gpu,they have fixed functions.Anyway...IF MS wants Natal games to look something ala RE5 or Gears of War 2 they can make it with not much problems,only thing that remains is,is that needed for casuals?
I would not really call that trowing money around.You see i my self find UC2 better experience then Halo 3 but duo to extensive marketing it sells 11mil while UC2 sells 3mil.I myself NEVER seen Uncharted 2 advert on TV,same cant be said for Halo...

Why to take a look at Forza 3?Because its 93 on metacritic and GT4 and GT5p is not even AAA?Is it because Forza 3 is ultimate racing sim this gen and GT5 is 6 yrs in making and still not here?Please...I respect what they are doing with system,its best bang for buck but you are just blabing crap that you dont even understand yourself.
360 fans can say.Just look at Reach,Gears,Forza 3 and RDR and then look at RDR,RE and GT5 thats not even out on ps3.Its just immature and stupid...
If thats slamming than yes.Fact is,IBM cpus as far as desktop cpus go are no where near of that Intels and Sony and MS went for best and cheapest solutions they could get and that ppu in ps3 and 360 is quite bad on its own.In 360 that situation is handled by adding better vector unit(VMX128) and better cache control and on ps3 its handled the way that ppu gives jobs to spus but without spus ps3 could hardly run general code for normal games.They could never cram in physics,a.i,sound...on one ...
Of course it will.Where did you get that from?Spus are heavily used since 2008 even in multiplatform games.You can take a look at latest interviews with Digital Foundry on what they are used for.Split Second devs used it for deferred rendering,triangle culling and post processing.The thing is that you have to use them the right way but to get more performance like Sonys 1st party but they are indeed used.How would ps3 handle games with just RSX and one crappy 360 like ppu with bad vector unit...

Well Forza 3 in comparison with GT5p or GTA4 is actually AAA title...actually GT5p is barely 80 on meta,while Forza is 92.Whoping 12 points difference in average...Forza 3 is for GT5p like GOW III is to DMC.

I know in terms of sales BUT Forza series is AAA series,same cant be said for GT anymore.GT5 will deliver,most probably will sell like crazy and get AAA but until then,Forza 3 is ultimative racing sim this gen.
You are totally wrong since frame buffer is something devs make themselves,thats where they store their data and z buffer...In 360 they will do that in eDRAM,that will be their frame buffer,while on ps3 you will have to store framebuffer in main memory thus having even less memory to work then in 360 version.
With eDRAM your framebuffer for 720p without aa is ~7mb meaning two 720p frames would be around 14mb,thats more than 10mb of eDRAM but than you will tile it in 2 frame...
3D sucks and i dont care.They should go for that for next gen...they said buy HDTVs its HD gaming era and half games arent even in HD.Now they are saying buy 3D TVs and in the end games will probably look crappy on it cus 512mb consoles with 5 yr old gpus are just not meant for that...i reckon we will have to buy new TVs in 2013 cus 3D gaming plus will come and so on...stupid gimmick.

I think Sony should be scared...since those companies care all about sales and money than Sony will shake their pants.I mean Halo 3 sold as many units in USA as RE 1+2,KZ2,UC 1+2,GOW III combined,all Sonys heavy hitters...
