How is RAGE engine dated???Its very advanced engine but its not really friendly with ps3 but Agent is definitely made on RAGE engine,they will probably tweak it for ps3 though...

He is definitely right.Japanese engines and tech this gen is no where near west developers,its fact.Epic Games,Id Software,Crytek,ND,SM,GG...the y are all just much better when it comes to tech than Japanese guys.

WTF???Crunch numbers??Xenos crunches verts and pixels with no sweat...this stupid site is fanboy heaven...idiots.
Why is he saying it cant crunch textures?Its not like cpu puts textures on screen,and you guys better dont tell me that cell is the one responsible for that because it aint,its NDs streaming technique...

If you would know anything Paradise you would know that Spus are jack **** for texturing since their LS cache cant hold even remotely close textures t...

Its SUPER hard to max out this consoles cus not only are they multithreaded,meaning you will NEVER run your code efficiently enough 100% of time but they also have quite capable though old gpus that you can always find more and more efficient technique to exploit their power.

One thing is that ps3 for example wont go much further then UC2,GOW III and KZ3 but its not maxed.You wont get same performance as you would get from first and second to third and fourth year of lifecy...

It actually does...You will be able to get twice as many effects(assuming they are the same as those at 60fps)doing 30 fps since you will have twice more time to render the frame and to bypass frame rate dips.With 60fps you have to render your frame in 16,6 ms while with 30 you have 33 ms

Number of players in multiplayer does not really effect much on graphics.
In multiplayer everybody controls their own character so cpu does not have to run a.i code.But there is verts limit(polygon),the more character you have the more verts are needed,the more gpu power is needed...

But if your game in sp has 15-20 a.is that should not be a problem.

Basically what im saying,games are mostly design limited with number of players on one map,not po...

My advice,go for Ati cus it is far better in price/performance ratio.Nvidia will probably have 5-10% better performances with their GTX480 in comparison with Ati 5870 but its not worth it since there is no game that needs it that much(Crysis),it uses much more supply and power and it will overheat...and there is that price of Nvidia cards,Nvidia just cant produce card with same power of Ati equivalent with the same number of transistors thats why they go for big once that are more priced and ...

Multiplats generally look about the same since they develop game on one console and then port it to other so they are not utilizing power of any platform.With Cryengine 3,code is written to scale performance on all 3 platforms in real time in sandbox editor,they have written code for 360 and ps3(spus) and when they are adding stuff while developing engine scales itself on platforms according to their power so that should remove crappy ports and limited power usage.

Seriously,Crysis 1 in the original way would be IMPOSSIBLE to run on consoles while looking good.It was to open,with to much foliage and area to texture and 512mb would not be enough in million years...now in city,with different lightning technique its pretty feasible...

LA Noire is more like mix between Heavy Rain gameplay with mafia settings...it looks very interesting and since its R* i would guess it will be good AAA title.
