I'm offended as a PC gamer. No duh the things are gonna perform better than a console, but they're also gonna cost a helluva lot more. I've got a VR-Capable HP Omen gaming laptop that was almost $3k. If Nvidia really wanted to impress me and move me toward buying, they'd show me the performance difference compared to a modern gaming laptop.
