Uncharted Multiplayer isn't even important to the game. It was never a selling point. People followed these games for the story and characters.
I'll never understand the obsession with Multiplayer some people have.
Well aside from the fact that they would then be more or less having to support three new multiplayer modes at once between the Beta and then Uncharted 2 and 3? They felt it best to not split the community and release the Uncharted 4 beta to tide people over until Uncharted 4 is out. Which, honestly, makes more sense. Were Uncharted 4 a full year or so away they may have made a different call, but as it stands they made this one.
Additionally, they changed how the game mechan...
Only if they brought said game to the PS3. Those who did not were not required to even muck with it, and several of them indeed passed early on.
Regardless, it would hardly have an industry-wide effect, merely an effect on the platform.
Beg pardon, but if no one but PS3 Devs were required to use the PS3's processor, then how did it manage to retard the entire industry? It still grew, games got better on all platforms, and oddly enough, the one platform it SHOULD have retarded wound up with better-looking games from developers who learned to use it.
So I kinda fail to see how this headline can be even a tiny bit accurate.
I'm not buying another Konami product based solely on how they treat their employees.
I honestly don't care if they make another game or not, most of them have been mediocre at best as of late.

Actually, the last four titles on that list are indeed approaching a 3:1 split in the PS4's favor, with Batman actually outright being a 3:1 split in the console market.
Cross play has been done on PS consoles since the PS2 bro. MS finally getting on board isn't terribly innovative.
No. After.
They didn't. That's the thing. Gamingbolt twisted their words.
Went to the site (stupidly) and read the actual quote.
"The PS4-version has all features of the PC-version including the unlimited viewing distance. As this was our first title for PS4, it wasn’t a piece of cake to get there. However, we are using our own inhouse-engine which we fully understand.”
“This made it possible for us to translate and optimize every feature. And we had not stopped before as we knew that the PS4 offers a powerful hardware. Howeve...
Innovation isn't always creating something outright new, it's also taking that which exists and improving upon it. And that Sony's finding a way to make it work without a PC is indeed very innovative, and something other companies aren't doing. It's also managing Multiplayer, which, so far as I know, Oculus is also not doing yet. The comment's not wrong, nor does it pretend Oculus is a ghost.
So you admit to a double standard and think it's ok so long as the right people are on the wrong end of it?
The same way people shaved for centuries before?
And they were made up for with software sales.
Dude, no company EVER goes into a business that won't be profitable overall. That's the way it is.
...I just came for the thumbnail.
And because I'm curious about how P4D got so much hype tbh.
But mostly the Chie thumbnail.
Profit is the only reason any gen existed.
Welcome to reality.
You DO know that software sales lead on the PS4, correct?
Good for you. Doesn't make this less relevant though man.
Because this does indeed affect how willing third parties are to work with which company, it's useful for investing, it's indicative of how much money the PS division is going to have to spend ON games as well.
Good thing they tweaked more than just the graphics then.
