If that "sense of wonder"is predicated on a completely inaccurate depiction of history though, then it's not really an interest of said history, but the alternate version of it.

@TheRandomOne

Actually, according to Rhode and Marvel, Marvel Games came to Sony independent of the movie deal.

Look, say what you will about Aiden, but at least his illegal actions had a sympathetic bend to them. When viewed through that lens, and what he actually did with his skills, what the goal was, we could accept it.

This... this is some punk #Occupy wannabe going around sticking it to corporations because "dey all evul!" and killing people in the process. This is not someone you can see as sympathetic unless you subscribe to a very, very specific ideology.

It's an original design for the game.

Tone down the salt there bro.

...wasn't that kind of a given seeing as MS literally paid for development?

I'm also going to bring up the fact that people are attacking Druckmann for being an SJW, (which even if true, has minimal impact on his craft overall) by agreeing with Max Landis, who really is an outright SJW.

"An invincible supervillain that couldn't be destroyed"

She's a trained combatant. You put Nate up against someone like Holly Holm, Rhonda Rousey, he'd get his ass kicked solo too.

She held her own against the two of them, sure, but again: trained to be lethal, even without a weapon. They're tossing out broad hooks and the occasional kidney shot, she's tossing out precision strikes at joints, nerve bundles, organs, each strik...

@goldwyncq

Unnecessary character development actually can undermine a narrative.

In the case of Nadine, we get all the backstory we need. Literally. She runs a mercenary army. She inherited it from her father, who was unscrupulous and lacked discernment in terms of what jobs to take, wound up getting in on the wrong side of too many civil wars and his employers then couldn't pay out. She doesn't like Rafe at all, but she took the job to save her c...

Except... he did land hits on Nadine. You see it when you play.

She just lands more. lol

She's a freaking MERC. She does what she's PAID to do, it's her BUSINESS. She's trying to save a mercenary outfit run into the ground by her father and took a job from a man she clearly does not like in the least as a means of trying to save said company.

Why do people act like she's some inherent villain or HAS to be to be strong? That she flipped the situation in her favor even AFTER being betrayed by her own soldiers and came out on top, not letting h...

And right there you lose credibility.

I've got no real interest at all in Battlefield 1 for one reason: the setting.

World War I is the last war I wanna play through,

People wanted a good Star Fox game.

Instead they got a gimmicky title that ran poorly.

Just Nintendo shooting themselves in the foot. Again.

Considering Persona games are pretty much a guaranteed M-rating from the get-go, and contain pretty adult themes ingrained right into them, seeing this be censored for the cleavage would be beyond shocking.

I mean... one of the Personas, Mara, is literally a Penis with a mouth riding a chariot. I'd buy avoiding the face being covered over anything else tbh.

That was on a Nintendo system. It's Nintendo. This happens there a LOT.

Well you know E3's coming.

Every year, like clockwork, these articles appear. lol

They don't have to. They can go after Valve for agreeing to publish the game.

Valve about to get sued into oblivion if they're actually planning to allow this.
