If you're asking about a dedicated mode, no, and there never was one. There's an online system in the background where you could conceivably bump into another human-controlled character, but no modes. It's primarily an SP game. As they've said from the start.
lolno
No, it's not.
You mean that the network was going to improve and become more stable?
Which it has?
Sure, except that literally everything demo'd is running on the base PS4 just fine...
So they put on multiple live demos of this game, with the footage online... but they're supposedly telling people not to look at ANY footage at all?
Between the absolutely ridiculous claims in the article itself and the bizarre and immature behavior displayed in the comment section, this site is anything but professional, let alone trustworthy. Can't even be bothered to prove Sean claimed this game to be something it wasn't.
(SPOILER: That'...
The difference is the PS4 isn't completely built around it.
If it's handheld it's not gonna be anywhere the Neo in specs. Not unless they wanna charge people an arm and a leg.
The above article even says the console's not shooting for graphical parity.
Probably the PS2. So many great games, was a nice jump from mostly-static polygons on the PS1, so many JRPGs to play, the Budokai series...
It was never an answer for BC either. It was available on PS3 right away, it's on Vita and even compatible with certain TVs too.
It's a service, not an "answer to BC".
...PS Now isn't BC or meant to be BC. Nor is PS3 emulation possible on PS4 hardware.
They're being run on dedicated servers made of PS3 hardware and streamed to users.
The actual game is being STREAMED. Nothing is being EMULATED, and certainly not natively, unless you actually believe those servers are made up of PS4's. They're DESIGNED to run PS3 games specifically.
It's why even TVs with no console at all can play PS Now games.
@Godmars290
You've been following FFXV too, eh?
Nice edge bro, 10/10.
Invested money, actually. Kickstarter "projects" are business ventures, like it or not. The "rewards" you're promised are your return on investment. If you do not receive the return on investment you were promised, demanding your investment be refunded is not an uncommon thing.
You're assuming the rate never fluctuates as more people adopted.
It's not going to forever be 1/3 of users. It was 1/3 at the time.
Their*
Well I know which one I'm more concerned about...
The creation of the PlayStation brand as a serious competitor for Nintendo as Sega slowly faded away is actually about the sole thing that gave Nintendo any competition at the time. And given the effects of Nintendo's near-monopoly on the games industry here in the U.S. back in the '80s and early '90s, that's a good thing.

Their movie division is "rubbish"? They're putting out blockbusters frequently. They've got a Spider-Man movie coming being co-produced by Marvel, and may even be able to produce films with other characters if Marvel signs off on it working with the MCU. Got The Magnificent Seven later this year too, which looks great and has positive buzz.
...so this is entirely speculative?
I mean there are no given sources in the article.
