You answered your own question. It's a service. It runs on their custom servers and streams to the platform.
They're also, you know, not stupid enough to kill people's reasons to buy their current console.
I'm confused, how does Remote Play not "Keep It Sony", as it were, when you're streaming the game off your PS4?
@343
"And what stops them from doing that?"
Not wanting to commit company suicide and kill their hardware.
About 70% of your complaints are supposition on your part, 5% of them are MAYBE valid, 15% are pure nonsense, and 10% are grievances with your own government tax system and currency exchange rates.
What lies at the start of the gen?
You do know PlayStation North America prices in accordance with the USD, right? Between the exchange rates and Canadian tax, the rate will naturally be different there by default.
That is something to take up with Canada's governing officials. The same problem happens in Brazil between exchange rates and taxes being ultra high. Things get ridiculously expensive down there for gamers at times.
Weren't you the crew on YouTube whining about how MS doesn't throw you enough bones despite all the hard work you put in shilling for a company that doesn't care about you?
How exactly does one appeal to casuals with the more powerful system for a cheaper price as well as the most AAA exclusives?
Look up something called an exchange rate. Look up taxes on digital purchases.
Sony raised the price by $10 USD. That it translates to $20 CD is not on them.
Ehhh, she actually kinda has a few points here...
How? It's 100% accurate.
Do you and the control need a moment alone?
It's not that people are against it. It's that most people are fine even if it doesn't.
There's no real great call or need for a controller that costs over $100 when the DS4 is an amazing control by default, so most just don't care.
UI is smooth as silk now, fewer overall hangups, looks much cleaner, interface more streamlined, longer video uploads to Twitter...
Okay so... why would you word this as to imply this is a system issue and not a development style issue? And frankly, there have been multiple stylized games released on the PS4
>Putting XII over IX
>Implying IX had weak characters
ohhhhh boy.
You do realize SIE is not Sony Pictures, yes? And that there are multiple marketing teams inside said film company to boot?
From the Vice interview: "With our game, often you're not led to an objective. The game doesn't hold your hand. And some people will like that. I've had people tell me, "I like that the game was treating me as intelligent," but then what I think they're saying is: "But I don't think gamers will be able to deal with that." I'm not saying any gamers are wrong, but I am totally okay with doing something different, and I will be totally okay with s...
Not a single person was intentionally mislead.
They always said base building was something to be implemented after launch dude.
