No. You need the Miles disc.

This would have been a better tweet to link to as it's not predicated by a messy, barely understandable question.
No idea how this is somehow confusing.
So pop in the disc you already have and play.
I wasn't aware that replacing entire lines of physics code and swapping out literal character models (not textures, MODELS) was something one could toggle in settings.
@Noctis How in the actual hell is "Mishandling pre-orders" proof of greed? Especially since 1. They're going to have more in stock a lot sooner than MS and 2. They actually had a lot more sell-through to customers as opposed to scalper bots as an indirect result?
They also NEVER said MM and Horizon were next-gen only. We assumed that. All they said is they WERE making Next-Gen exclusives, and they are. Demon's Souls, Destruction All-Stars, and Ratchet &...
They can.
It's called "Inserting Your PS4 Disc Into The Drive".
Ah yes, for the gamer that REALLY wants to skip that sequel.
Honestly, I'd think it'd be even sillier to sell it separately as they'd still get called anti-consumer for charging. At least bundling it in a "two games for the price of one" deal shows the value.
"If I can play this 6-year-old game on PC then GG"
lol ok
TLOU was remastered after two years. I don't recall even a fraction of this amount of fuss over that being called a Remaster... and it was less of an upgrade than Spider-Man is. They're not just changing textures, they're changing physics, hair, the models themselves.
Yes, just pop an MM disc in and you can upgrade from the menu.
Who realistically wouldn't be buying the game's sequel?
"Some would argue that some of those games have better graphichs than SM "Remaster"."
Who would argue that when they literally haven't even seen it?
"And yes, I know the difference, they are supposedly using new assests..which I can tell you is not worth a full premium price upgrade, at bear minimum offer it discounted..$70 tho? You good with that?"
You're not paying $70 for that, you're paying $20. $50 g...
So you've played it and know exactly what the content is? It's literally only the size of a single chapter of the City That Never Sleeps arc?
Not to shoot the premise in the foot, but I honestly couldn't care less about FromSoft so... -shrug-
I can think of many better uses for that cash.
An acquisition like that is not a guarantee they'll have success in that market. In fact, an American megacorp coming in and buying out a traditionally Japanese company is likely to foster some bitterness and ill will. What they need to do if they wanna break into the Japanese market is actually do it organically.
But as we've seen, Nadella clearly does not have the patience for that.
""You can't wake up one day and say, 'Let me build a game studio,'" Nadella said."
UHHH... The Initiative? The Coalition? Turn 10? 343 Industries? They've literally already done this more than once.
WTF?
...do you even know how long it takes to make deals like this happen? Even if they WERE looking to respond somehow, it'd take months for something like that to come to fruition.
I'd also caution against clamoring for too much of the independent/third party space being bought up. The games industry would suffer for it.
I mean, it's worth noting that this started in the '80s, and as a comic premise, not a cartoon, but...
lmao you must be new
The problem isn't their tweet, it's the tweet it's replying to directly.
Here's one from their Community Manager that's a lot clearer without that clutter.
