This^^^ Bubbles for agreeing with my opinion and the sentiment of the article. :op
Ottoman empire 1299–1923
Ezio's story continues in 1499 in AC: Brotherhood. So they overlap and could go back before AC: B. So your point is a bit moot.
Why can't they move on to more recent times. WWI or WWII and beyond. Or better yet why not make the next Splinter Cell using the same game engine like Conviction started out as.
Does this logic apply to PC gaming?
Oh grow up will ya.
Wait!!! - let's say Metal Gear Solid 4 was on Xbox 360 as well do you think the overall sales would have been more? Surely from a business stance that's more financially viable?
It also means gamers are more likely to get a new game in the series quicker - as the COD series proves. It also proves that with shorter dev times doesn't necessarily mean reduced quality, although some people will argue it does.
Yeh but compared to drivel like multiformat movie tie in games, it's god amongst games.
Interesting angle, and from a financial point of view, Cod games make a good case for multi format games. But... not all multi format games are as good as MW 2 and Black Ops.
Bah!!!! a shame. 3DS needs more games like this.
Sad to say, but I think there's no chance really. Like it or not COD is a killer franchise that keeps growing, as the article and sales suggests.
UK TV is still advertising Black Ops as if it were a new release. Go figure.
Regardless of region, the fact remains that more fighting games are sold on PS3 than Xbox 360. Why argue against this?
You spot Skyrim in there at number 3 - the game's not even out yet.
Come on guys, adult naughtiness would be 3D enabled -- breast fondling with Kinect, massaging ladies bits with Move and virtual dogging with Duke offering one liners and a score as you do it!
Adult naughtiness? In which universe is this regarded as Adult?
Those 84 votes have all been that positive though to place the game where it is.
The votes system is flawed, so who knows how the community update that rolls out later this year is going to work..
Most casual gamers won't even read a review as they enter GAME or GAMESTOP to impulse buy their next game.
Word of mouth and even the store clerk have more clout than faceless reviews.
So why do so many sites feel the need to post an opinion, and more importantly, why do Publishers encourage it?
I like taking 3D pictures, love walking around for streetpass and play many DS games I never played before.
Nah far from boring.
3DS need exclusives too y'know and the 3D will b pretty unique.
and Sony are leading the charge. Even if Wii 2 has 3D enabled software, Sony's lead will be so great that it won't matter.
Ok the Industrial revolution of the 17th 18th century would make for a decent change of pace. Maybe a bit of steam punk...ok kidding about steampunk. lol.
Jack the ripper, old streets of london springs to mind.
