The PS4 version is friggin SWEET! I played the PS4 Beta, when it was live. The resolution is So much better at a full 1080p. Im pretty sure it's 60FPS too, aside from a few random cases...where it dips below 60. But yeah, MY experience was a blast. Everything was so fluid and smooth. No bugs, no errors, no disconnects. There was a time or two when I had some full servers and couldnt get in...but that's to be expected, really.

You might be able to play online, multiplayer games...but thats about it.
To answer The_Infected's question a little clearer...no, PSN network maintenance cannot be done in the background of the PS4 or PS3. It affects the entire network and like I said, you CAN be on the network during maintenance, but at a limited capaci...
Nice work-around...but Sony just needs to hurry up with that firmware update that allows flash drives, external hard drives and other USB storage media, to be supported on PS4. Would solve a lot of these little issues.
It was my understanding, that Sony was set to release a new firmware on the SAME DAY as the Japan PS4 launch. I guess that didnt happen, and the powers to be arent saying much on WHEN this update is coming.

Home is an online, 3D interactive environment for PlayStation users to explore, meet up with other players around the world, play mini games and interact with a social community. It's only equivalent would be Second Life, currently on PC....which also has a pretty big community. Believe it or not, there ARE people out there, who enjoy life in an online world.

Um..no. PS4 only has 2 games sub 1080/60, which was developer discretion. Not hardware bottleneck. PS4, SO FAR...has been more consistent getting games up to 1080/60 than XBox One has.
So dont even try putting the PS4 in the same boat as the XBox One. LOL.
PS3 isnt done and I never said it was.
However, it is no longer on center stage anymore. A lot of the popularity and buzz has shifted from PS3 to PS4. And at some point...Sony WILL discontinue PS3 support. Over time, the PS3 will become another old relic and journalists will write future articles about it, suggesting people abandon their consoles for a back catalog of older gen games.

Already had a PS2 and played all the great classics, from that gen. No need to go backwards, unless youre playing from an emulator; for nostalgic purposes. The PS2 had a wonderful back catalog of games. So did the PS3, Wii and 360. Every previous gen has had it's epic moments in history, across all consoles.

You dont have to reach very hard to find good games on the Playstation consoles. Sony is in their 4th console generation, with the PS4. You dont just survive 20 years in this industry, for no reason...without doing SOMETHING right.

I welcome the HD graphics with the next gen reboot. It looks really nice, but the changes they made completely took all the nostalgia I had for this game. I'll still buy it, of course...but they couldve done better by leaving the game alone and just porting the old arcade version over to next gen c...
Meh. If Mario Kart 8 isnt moving enough Wii U units to compete with PS4 sales, hardware to hardware...then it matters not, how many copies the game sells. I could care less.
IDK man...this game looks like a generic "dungeon crawler" to me. And if Im gonna play any D&D medieval type games...it's gonna be Elder Scrolls online. Im sure it looks great, but if that is more or less the gameplay (shown in the vid) I'll pass on this one.
Sounds to me, like there's some PARITY going on, here. Trying to make the game look the same across ALL platforms, to create some scale of equality. I hate this! If it looks better on PS4, dont dumb it down so it will look equally as good on XBox One, 360 and PS3. Last gen, we had a problem with devs taking multiplat games...and making them weaker for the sake of parity.
I realize Kojima said the PS4 version looks better...Im just saying. Keep it that way.

Your statement is opinionated and subjective. The PS4 hardware ALONE, is leaps and bounds better than the Wii U, and this is supported by FACTUAL information. The PS4 has only been out for...3 months. It hasnt had time to build up a whole lot of exclusives, while the Wii U has had over a year lead on the PS4 and XBox One...and in that time, we havent seen much on the Wii U....
