Picking up TLOU on PS4, next week. Diablo 3 will probably be my next purchase. After that....waiting for GTAV for PS4. I got it all mapped out. LOL.
IDK about the sharing....but they fixed YouTube, when trying to watch videos, from the native YouTube website. No more having to use the www.youtube/tv bypass.

But how will online play work? Will there be cross server play, where PS3 players and PS4 players can play on the same servers with eachother?
Cuz if PS4 players are stuck on a network all by themselves, isolated from their PS3 counterparts....then, thats no fun.

And noone has asked if the new models, let alone the older PX4 PS4 model will be bluetooth compatible on the PS4.
Bluetooth compatible in THIS regard means, functioning fully as a headset and mic thru a solid primary bluetooth connection, WITHOUT the need for that annoying ass cable tethered to the DualShock 4.
Either Sony...or Turtle Beach...needs to find a way to eliminate that damn cable and go full bluetooth.

I disagree. Theres enough of a gen gap between PS3 and PS4. Idk about 360 and XBox One...or the Wii U...BUT, were getting games in 1080p on PS4, some of which are above 30FPS. Yeah.
Last gen we were getting games at 720p. It's a big difference, bro. If you dont believe it. Play MGS4 and compare it to MGS:GZ OR compare Infamous 1&2 to 2nd Son.

For one thing, 2nd Son is in full 1080p. Watch Dogs is not. 900p is NOT as good as 1080p. Dont try to sit there and act like it is. It may look better than GTAV, when comparing against a last gen game...but 2nd Son beats the sh!t out of Watch Dogs in the resolution and graphics department, 7 days a week. LOL.

Sure. I played and loved Skyrim, which was open-world. But GTA and Skyrim are creatures of a different breed. If all youre doing, is picking certain elements within a game and saying "Here, see the similarities?"...then I cant even take you seriously, right now. LOL.

Uh huh. Im a gamer and I play games, too. But I wont just play anything. $60 is a lot of cash, for the working man who's barely living paycheck to paycheck. Therefore, when the rare opportunity presents itself where I can afford a AAA title....I make sure it's up to my standards, first and foremost...then I make sure I dont already have anything like it, that provides a similar experience, in my collection.
I avoid wannabe's, copycats and knock off's.

First of all...they didnt "force" anything PC-like into the PS4 version of FFXIV. The touchpad-mouse and keyboard support are there as OPTIONS only. You dont have to use them. You can just play with a DS4 controller, if you like. Square-Enix wanted to give the user base plenty of room for options and accessory support as possible, because no 2 players play alike, in today's gaming age. To each their own. I've played WoW, back in the day. The PC I have now, isnt powerful enough to run it. I need more RAM.
But Im playin FFXIV on PS4, currently...and it's just fine. There's nothing wrong with it. The monthly sub is reasonable. You dont have to have Plus to play it and the game runs great, in terms of resolution, gameplay and load times. It's a very successful MMO. It aint gonna fail anytime soon.
yes, apparently the UI launcher is free for everyone. You can download it, but when the servers go live on the 14th, if you dont own it and set up a Square-Enix account...you wont be able to play. 1st month is free, for newcomers. Every month thereafter is like $13-15 for the sub.
PS3 to PS4 transition is free, if you own it on PS3.
But yeah, looks like everyone can download the launcher.
